The hospitality was truly exceptional; the staff was warm, accommodating, and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire property was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Traveling with our two boys and our dog can sometimes be challenging, but the comfortable and spotless environment made our stay completely stress-free. "The staff were so friendly. The evening meal was just what we needed after a long journey, although a little expensive., but we were on holiday so expected to pay more. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day. Beds were very comfortable and clean, we slept well. If we ever pass through Dolgellau again we would definitely stay here again. "

"Very spacious room and amazing location. We used it as base to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llyn peninsula. We travelled with a small baby and they were happy to accommodate us with a cot. Easy and free parking outside the property. Amazing restaurant next door. Staff was so helpful - Marilyn helped me out and literally saved me! Thank you very much. We will be back!"

"What a fantastic place! It is in a fairy tale setting and the grounds and town are beautiful! Regan is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for places to visit and hike. The food is exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. This was our favorite spot on our 2 week long trip. Highly recommended! "

"Had a really pleasant stay at Gwydyr Hotel. The hotel is charming, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with spotless rooms and a cosy atmosphere. Service was warm and attentive, and breakfast was delicious. Just a small note that there’s no lift, but staff were helpful and everything else more than made up for it.
