Drury Plaza Hotel North Charleston
10/10 Excellent
"I fell in love with this hotel. Between the friendly staff, the clean hallways, and the room, was AMAZING, the shower was soo nice. All in all. This hotel could be my hotel to go for. But they are NOT all over the place like others. I slept soooo good on the bed. You wont be disappointed staying here. Go for it!!!"
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charleston N./Ashley Phosphate
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was super friendly. The breakfast had a nice variety and healthy options. The place was so clean so quiet and it was so comfortable. We slept four people in one room completely comfortable room to move around. I absolutely love Springhill."
"My sister and I stayed here for our trip to Charleston and this hotel did not disappoint. You get exactly what you’re looking for, a historic hotel within walking distance, a beautiful lobby and interior with updated rooms but still having that old charm to it. The room was spacious with 2 large closets and a full length mirror (very much appreciated by my sister and I) The bathroom was smaller but to be expected with older hotels, the only downfall was the plumbing. The water pressure wasn’t the greatest so made for longer showers and the toilets didn’t flush well. But the hotel is in a perfect area. We flew in and didn't have personal transportation and were able to walk all over for great shopping, restaurants and sites. If we decide to return for another trip to Charleston we would definitely stay here again. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant in the hotel but it’s very convenient to have as well as a coffee shop. "
