One important tip: make sure you book your ferry to Milna, not Bol like I mistakenly did. Bol is about an hour away by car, and the taxi was expensive—definitely double-check your port when booking.

Very good location wise if you're looking for a bit of relaxation, 2 near by quaint villages either side of the hotel for those that like to do a short 40-60 min walk.
Would recommend 1 evening in Makarska approx 30 mins away by taxi /bus shuttle just to experience something a bit different to the hotel (but hotel evening food/entertainment can't be faulted).

You can learn about the history of Hvar with a stop at St Stephen's Cathedral. Amble around this relaxing area's beautiful beaches and enjoy its lively bars.
You can stroll along Port of Hvar for relaxing water views when you're in Hvar Old Town. Spend the afternoon at the beach and head to one of the restaurants for a bite to eat. If you carry on walking you'll get to Pokonji Dol Beach, Momo Beach, and Jerolim Beach for some more water views.
If you can't wait to get to the beach, you might enjoy a trip to Milna Beach in the heart of Milna. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Mekicevica Beach located nearby.
If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at Hvar Town Arsenal & Theater in Hvar Old Town. Why not take a stroll along the beaches and watch the sunset while you're here? If you enjoy the show and want to see another, Hvar Public Theater is just a short walk away.
