Hotel Mediteran Plava Laguna
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel overall. Very close to the coastal trail with access to the beach, rental equipment, and the little train to town. The trip from the bedroom to the restaurant or the pool is a bit cumbersome, as the elevator only goes to the reception area, and you have to walk down the length of the lobby and down the stairs to go to them. The highlight for us was the quality of the food in the restaurant, as well as all the staff there. Everyone in the restaurant area are extremely friendly and helpful. And again the food quality, considering the large number of people to serve, is outstanding. Kudos to everyone !"
"We enjoyed our stay. Staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet is great, although they could benefit from having a self-serve espresso/cappuccino machine as it's always a bit cumbersome to ask for coffee refills. Apart from this, we highly recommend."
"Room was fairly large with balcony. Ours was located in separate building to main hotel accessed by a covered walkway. (About a minute walk!). Not an issue and was closer to shops & route to bus stop. Other rooms on same floor had superb views across the harbour (I expect at a premium). Breakfast was magnificent. Huge choice & regularly re-stocked. Coffee from machine not great, but there is a barista towards the back of the restaurant who makes a delightful coffee. Outdoor Pool and grounds beautiful. Large indoor pool. Sauna separated into men’s/ladies. No swim attire allowed (I didn’t use it!). 10 min (max) walk to bus stop into Pula town. Buses 3 an hour til around 5pm, then 2 an hour. Very reliable. Only takes about 10-15 mins. (3a into town;2a coming back). Lovely walks from hotel; other hotels nearby. Hotel Bar very reasonable & serves a light lunch (baguette & chips was delicious). And another bar that stays open til 1 am. Also a pool bar in the day time. Would definitely return. Can leave luggage in storeroom if have a later flight. "
"There is nothing that you don’t like about this property. This hotel is very well managed with professionals, friendly, and guest oriented people and of course, a lot of choice what to do for everybody."
"Our room was amazing and the facilities were well kept and inviting. Breakfast each morning had more options than I could eat.
My only complaint was the family on our floor had children they could not control and screamed nearly the length of our stay. Not the hotel's' fault mind you. "
"Lovely close in water views from the front building or third floor of the back building. Exceeds the standards for small Euro boutique hotel. Nice pool with great outlook and lots of sun. Helpful friendly staff and very nice rooms. Michelin restaurant on site with great food and wine list. Sea wall and nice beaches are close by. You will need a car, bus or Uber to get to Pula old town."
"Fantastic stay, very accommodating hotel. Me and my partner stayed there where we got married in the area, staff were super friendly and helpful. Would 100% return "
