"We had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were clean, quiet and spacious, with splendid views and easy access to outdoor sunrise viewing. The staff were outstanding: friendly, generous with their time and always willing to help. We would happily stay here again. (One thing to note is that bus service, while reliable and close at hand, is infrequent. We wished we had rented a car.)"
"The hotel was conveniently located in Alishan, close to the hikes, trails, and viewpoints, which made it easy to enjoy the sights. However, the hotel is quite old, and the rooms were simple and somewhat dated. The bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, but again, it’s really about the location. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, though I’d recommend limiting the stay to a weekend."
"If you have a car great place to stay! No car stay in Chiayi. We thought since it was closer to Alishan Forest we could get a taxi or uber up the mountain…it was a struggle! We finally got a taxi 5000 NTD round trip! "
"The location is excellent, and the room is spacious and clean. However, the on-site parking is limited. If it’s full, guests may need to use an alternative car park located just a few minutes’ walk away."
