"I’m so happy we chose to stay at Hotel Verde Mar. It’s a beautiful and modern hotel, the staff are so kind and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, it’s right by the ocean, and parking is free. They also have a separate towel service for going to thermal pools or swimming in the ocean which is convenient.
The location is also so great, you can walk into Ribiera Grande for food, and there’s a grocery story 1 minute away. Also again the proximity to the ocean is so nice.
The room is quite nice, our room had a balcony overlooking the ocean. I had been concerned about the bathroom having a window into the main room but there is a shade that can be drawn that fully covers it.
When I come back to Sao Miguel I will definitely stay here again. "
