"Ruby Emma is a modern hotel, with the room controls, tv, lights, thermostat etc all managed from an iPad.
The room was spacious, private, clean and with a great wet room and shower.
The staff were all very positive and engaging and essentially very helpful.
All though the Spaklerweg location is a couple of miles from the centre, the hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the Metro station which is on the main three lines straight into Amsterdam - so very convenient from a transport point of view.
Thanks to everyone at the Ruby Emma, I would certainly stay there again."
"The staff was extremely friendly and the room was spotless. This hotel is located within a 2 minute walk to the central tram and train location. There are also a lot of restaurants that are a 5 minute walk from the hotel."
"Very cool place! Beautiful interior and rooms small but mostly functional. Bathrooms perhaps a bit too small. I am a fairly slim person and I struggled to get around the door to shower. Also don’t stay with your romantic partner unless you’re very comfortable using the toilet in front of them as there is no real privacy"
"My only complaint is that the room became too warm at the end of my stay and there was no way to turn the temperature down anymore, or open a window."
"We had such a wonderful stay at this absolutely beautiful property; truly appreciated all of the eco-friendly features - luxury doesn’t have to come at the cost of damaging the earth.
The staff made our trip and arrival so extra special and they were incredible throughout our short stay! "
"The Park Plaza in Amsterdam offers a great central location for exploring the city. You're right near the Centraal Station, giving easy access to trains, trams and ferries for navigating the city. We also easily accessed bike tours and a canal tour within steps from the hotel.
The room was clean and well appointed. Our sixth floor room was quiet. Friends with a first floor room found there was a lot of street noise.
If you have a room in the newer tower, the two elevator rides and the "bridge" crossing to the newer building does get tedious when you have done it several time in a day."
