"The location is excellent, the staff helpful and attentive and the rooms comfortable and large by Japanese standards. The only negative I saw is that there is a very small lobby and doesn’t appear to be anywhere to store luggage. The lobby was typically chaotic "
"This was our second time at Hotel Forza Kawaramachi. We are happy we came back! It's well taken care of, luxury-feel, great staff, and a lovely stay.
The room layout (double room) is small but the space is designed to accommodate. Love the hair products and soap offered, its good quality and smells great.
The breakfast buffet has a variety of western and Japanese options. Free sake, coffee machine, and laundry facilities are great additions. The lobby space is a clean, calm space to sit in and relax.
Overall, a great hotel! Would return next time and recommend to everyone coming to Kyoto."
"very elegant and modern boutique hotel in Kyoto’s Sanjo area, room very clean, staff are friendly and polite, super convenient location, very good breakfast. Had a great time there. Highly recommend it!"
"A very lovely hotel with a nice onsen, the rooms are small but comfortable, the lounge at night is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some music and quiet conversations. The staff is friendly, extremely patient and helpful as well. It is nicely situated near several shops, restaurants (be warned the shops on the main strip and some of the off streets close at 8pm) and close to a few train lines/rails. Overall a nice stay.

"The room we had was clean, size was exactly as expected for a hotel in the central part of a large city. It was known due to its central location it would be a little noisy at night, but it was manageable and we both managed to sleep soundly all nights of our stay.
The location was excellent for all things getting around. "
