"First time ever in Paris to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We chose the Hotel de Roubaix for its location and high rating. Did not disappoint. "Air conditioning, working elevator, good comfortably large hotel room, great location (short walk to a couple of Metro subway lines). Only consideration - bath tub/shower height from the floor requires hiking your leg up and over - along with good balance while on one leg for a minute with no handrails. So, if I were older, might skip for that one reason - getting in and out of bathtub shower is risky for someone with lousy balance or less flexibility in hips/legs. Overall, lovely hotel!"
"The hotel was great (nice room very friendly staff) aside from the elevator breaking down for 2 days and we were on the 4th floor. good exercise for us but some other guests were very upset.
Also, there are hookers on the street corners around the hotel which seems odd to me but apparently it is normal there according to locals. I would not recommend this hotel for young families or elderly.
I did enjoy my stay, central location, they use a great driver who took us to and from airport and anywhere we needed to go. "
"Great boutique property with amazing staff. We had a room on the 8th floor overlooking the park with views of the Eiffel tower and it was very quiet with the windows closed. But lovely to hear the city sounds with it opened. The room was welcoming, clean, stylish, and eco friendly. Loved the common areas on the ground floor to chill with friends. "
