Weather was incredible! The hotel and the staff was amazing! The food in the hotel was delicious! The cleanliness of the room and air conditioning was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Also, very convenient location for the surfing events. As it is right next door to where the championship is held. Excellent hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff cleared the beach of garbage regularly and were always working in the grounds making it look perfect. The staff were all wonderful. The area around was very safe and the local people were lovely.

I’m a big fan of Casa De Mar. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. There’s a wonderful surf break right in front. However, like most surf spots these days, it’s staring to get a bit crowded. Also, rooms are spacious with excellent, quiet air conditioning.

This is a cozy, clean, well-maintained resort on a beautiful end of the El Sunzal beach, close enough to walk to the beach and to the shops in El Tunco, but far enough away to provide quiet and a sense of privacy. The landscaping is fantastic. The food is excellent and, again, can be enjoyed with a wonderful view of the famous El Tunco surf. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to welcome you and help you. This is the third time that I have stayed at Casa de Mar, and I am looking forward to coming back!

Overall this property was in good shape and all the staff were very nice and pleasant. There were a few oddities but it was clean and well maintained. I don’t feel however the value for the money spent per night was worth it. Everything from drinking water and ice to use in your room was an extra charge. Food was just ok. Basic amenities, no in room fridge or luggage rack or table for your clothing. The people were the best part about the stay.
