Fantastic value. In the heart of the vibrant Trastevere. Super staff: very helpful and pleasant beyond words. One caveat- if you're in a separate apartment, as I was, be aware there's an adjacent restaurant that is active to midnight but the apartment is large and the stocked fridge more than makes up for any noise "issue."

Definitely Recommend! Cute spot!

Had one last night in Rome before our flight out and found this place. It was so cute, quaint and in a perfect location near all the action in Trastevere, but tucked back enough to stay quiet. Staff was all extremely friendly. There’s even a cute rooftop patio for you to enjoy during your stay!

Wonderful little place in Trastevere, so convenient for walking to the river, for exploring and so many shops, bars and restaurants also nearby. The staff were all so kind and helpful ... breakfast was fantastic and there's complementary water, snacks and drinks which was such a treat. We enjoyed our stay here! We stayed in the apartment adjacent to the hotel and thought it was classy and cute. The breakfast was delicious and the patio space we ate it on was amazing. There's also a rooftop terrace that we had pizza and wine on multiple nights because it was so nice. The staff were all extremely accommodating and sweet. They made sure to stock their fridge with a non-dairy milk so that they could make me an oat milk cappucino for breakfast each day. Giulia even helped us make calls to public offices (we don't speak Italian) when my mom's phone was stolen on a bus. Others who stayed here found the noise of the restaurant below the apartment to be annoying, but for us the AC drowned out all of that noise and we slept well The staff also provided earplugs, but we didnt need them. Only downside for us was the smoke smell that entered from the people smoking outside.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with tons of character, the breakfast provided was varied and delicious, the service was excellent (thanks so much Simone!), and the neighborhood was amazing with tons of nearby dining options, piazzas and other places to explore. Would definitely recommend Villa Della Fonte to anyone traveling to Rome.

The apartment at Villa della Fonte is beautiful and in an incredible location in Trastavere. The staff was very kind, helpful and flexible at check in and check out. It is a little noisy, but we liked that because you really do feel in the middle of things, and ear plugs and air conditioning are provided if you’re sensitive to noise. I would find it hard not to stay here again on any return visits to Rome.

What an awesome spot. If you love lively neighborhoods, this doesn’t really get much more lovely than this. I got there extremely early and they gave me a cappuccino while I waited for the room. There’s an outdoor section for eating (which it comes with free breakfast) and a rooftop hang out (see photos). The room was extremely clean and updated yet the rest of the building persevered its vintage and beautiful feeling. Can’t say enough about the staff. From the gentleman who greeted me to the lovely lady who came back from eating lunch (I wouldn’t have let her had I known) just so I can print a concert ticket. I would have stayed here another day if I could but they were booked the next day.
