The hotel area was ok the air conditioning was excellent the staff was great but the room was dirty and the curtains had holes in them that where duct taped there was a roach not a wood roach in the bath tub there was no fire alarm and the hair dryer almost took my friends finger off because there was no back on the dryer not the worst hotel I have stayed at but it was dirty. Even though it looked clean walking in.

The hand held shower head fixture was missing so I had to hold it while showering. And after alerting a staff member, nothing happened. Otherwise, this is a very clean and quiet place with a comfortable bed. I recommend staying here.

Worst hotel

Horrible one room had an a/c that was so loud we could use it. Then they moved us rooms and it had bed bugs and they only offered to switch us rooms when they said already that they had no available rooms

Nobody at front desk to check me. Waited for about 30/40 minutes until employee finally came. He had to fix a pipe since his maintenance crew left for the day so I understood and he was a nice person. Other than that place pretty decent.

Stay at Conroe Palace Inn

The room I had was clean. But the tv didn't work and the remote was held together by scotch tape. The drapes had electrical tape to cover holes or tears. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy. The other room we had was much better. The only issue was the remote for the tv was also held together by scotch tape; but the tv did work. For the cost it wasn't horrible but I had hoped for better than what I got in my room.

Checking in was fine—the staff didn’t say much, but that’s fine. When we got to our room on the second floor (no elevator), we realized we were literally thee only car in the parking lot. That was odd. We then went into the room and were hit with an intense musty odor. The top blanket and sheets were stained and had hair all over, and the pillows were super thin. The bathroom also had hairs on the floor as well as what appeared to be urine stains around the toilet that weren’t cleaned. The toilet paper holder was literally hanging from the wall. We sat on the bed long enough to look up other hotels in the area. We ended up checking out the same day and spending the rest of our stay elsewhere.

I booked a room thinking it was for the 11th but when I finished paying it appeared as the 13th. I canceled the reservation minutes after realizing my mistake and was told I would hear back within 72 hours!! By the time 72 hours passed the check in and stay had already occurred. I reached out to the customer service and chatted with someone and when I told them everything they responded with we will reach you by email within 24-48 hours, which was also going to surpass the check in!! When I asked to speak to someone over the phone they told me they’ve done everything on their end and that was that. I had a room already for the 13th and didn’t need an additional room. My family have been affected by Hurricane Beryl and we had no place else to go. Money is already tight and now they won’t issue a refund for the night. Thanks for nothing!!! I understand a no refund policy, but I cancelled before their system probably even booked my room!! I feel robbed.

The hotel workers in the morning made us feel very unsafe. Following us to our other room and harassing us. Back story; we had our kids with us and my mom wasn’t able to come with us. Since we booked two rooms we asked for a conjoined or at least something near each other. Even though we arrived right at check in there was nothing near each other. So we made the best of our stay cramming everyone into one room using the extra blankets and pillows from the other room we paid for. No where did it state we couldn’t do that and we weren’t going to leave minors in a hotel room unsupervised overnight. It didn’t help amber alerts were going off left and right either. As we went to clean up after ourselves the next morning one of the men working started to follow us, harassing us to give him the stuff and we weren’t allowed to do that. We tried explaining to him what’s going on and what we were doing. Plus during our stay the washer was broken and of course this wasn’t something we found out about until money was inserted and the button was pressed but nothing further happened. So all the clothes got out back into the bags and got moved to the spare room which was closer. Since communication with the man wasn’t working we had him follow us to the room to show him what we were doing, this is where the other hotel employee started to harass us about the situation too. At that point we just continued to put the bedding back and grab our stuff. It is not worth staying here again.

Clean but asked for non smoking and sign outside door said non smoking room but wreaked of smoke and ashtray was dead giveaway. Pillows felt like sac of potatoes. Not enough towels and no blow dryer. Pic showed one. Need to update pics on site. Had to go out with wet hair. Thankfull just stayed one night but never again. Oh but lady at front desk was pleasant. Only upside to our stay.
