Perfect Weekend Away

The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was excellent, staff very courteous but the rooms disappoint. We had 2 separate rooms, modern decor and very clean. However they were dark and rather cold. In one rooms the heating unit didn’t work. They have additional radiators but they plug them into sockets that turn off when the lights go off. Someone should warn about this!. We didn’t realized until the next day. The bathrooms don’t have curtains and it’s a big mess when taking a shower, they look outdated compared to the rooms. They were also freezing cold, had leaks from the sink and the toilet didn’t work properly, kept running water. Not the price tag.

Beautiful place but over crowded on weekends

Our stay was overall very nice. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent, and the location was lovely. However, I’d like to share our experience of staying over the weekend. Both the breakfast area and the spa were extremely crowded. Breakfast: I highly recommend going before 9 AM; otherwise, you may find yourself queuing for a table, waiting for plates, and struggling to access the buffet. Spa: Unfortunately, we found the pool water quite cold, which made it less relaxing. Additionally, I suggest visiting during adult-only hours for a more peaceful experience. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of available seating. Throughout our entire time at the spa, we couldn’t find a place to sit because many chairs were occupied by unattended towels. It was unclear whether these spots were actually taken or if people simply left their belongings without consideration for others. This could be better managed to improve the experience for all guests. Overall, the hotel has a lot of great qualities, but managing peak-time crowds could make the stay even better.

Nous avons été relativement déçus sur plusieurs aspects : Dès la réservation, nous avons reçu plus d'une dizaine de mails de l'hôtel pour organiser notre arrivée. Même si cela part d'une bonne intention, inonder les clients de messages peut s'avérer contre-productif, d’autant plus lorsque les réponses ou les questions ne sont que partiellement prises en compte. La première chambre n’était pas en bon état : câbles de téléphone pendant au mur, meubles et murs abîmés, et surtout, aucun chauffage la première nuit — ce qui est particulièrement problématique avec un enfant en bas âge. Heureusement, l’équipe nous a proposé une nouvelle chambre avec chauffage et une réduction de 30 % sur la première nuitée, mais cela a tout de même entaché notre séjour. Bref, même si l’hôtel propose de belles prestations, nous ne pensons pas y revenir dans l’immédiat.

Déçu d'avoir constaté une chambre ayant vieilli très vite... Lavabo et douche bouchés, support papier toilette cassé, tapis à l'entrée abîmé, taches sur les murs et la tête de lit... Qualité globale de la chambre très décevante ne correspondant pas à l'apparence globale de l'établissement.
