This guesthouse was a nice stay. Even with the shared bathroom situation, it was still enough privacy to feel comfortable. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.

Weather was beautiful so we never used the spa. Great breakfast. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurant for dinner because of cost but really thought about it. It had a great-looking tasting menu for the whole table, but we were tired and starving and chose another place in town.

We were a family of 3 adults in Rm 57. Basically newly renovated room, super clean and spacious. The private bathroom was clean, and nice. Breakfast included was nutritious and good, people nice. Super location, but we could not take advantage of it due to the bad weather, however , the lake on top looks spectacular in other pictures. I would recommend the guesthouse to anyone.

Room was large and had enough area to open multiple luggages. Cleanliness could be improved and bedsheets were very old - had a very rough non-smooth texture. Breakfast was the standard Iceland style continental breakfast.

Drive further, pay for a proper hotel.

Not great - dorm style ‘guesthouse’ where we shared a shower and two toilets, downstairs with two other rooms. One towel each. No hand towels, no tissues. Ran out of tp in one of the bathrooms almost immediately. Overall, No noise control. Hardly slept between neighbor’s normal talking (thin walls), uncomfortable beds and doors slamming who knows where - you hear everything. Even with earplugs. Breakfast was ok. Filling but not a buffet or much choice. Everyone gets the same plate of food. For the price, we stayed in much better places…

A somewhat lower quality lodging option with smaller rooms, thin walls (so the activities of the neighbors can be heard) and less well maintained. Definitely overpriced.

Good place to stay

We booked a double room with private bathroom. The hotel and the room were clean, and quiet. The beds are comfortable, parking is free onsite. The staff were very friendly. The location is great. There's a waterfall behind the hotel. Just one thing to note but it's not a deal breaker is that the breakfast is very basic (one cup of yugort, one slide of cucumber, slides of bread and cheese as many as you want, small orange juice box and coffee - refill)

The property is right next to a waterfall. Most amazing!!! Everything was great. I would only suggest two things. The shower was not good, its weirdly elevated and sprayed in my face when I turned it on each time. But staff is friendly, nice enough breakfast and we were on our way. The other thing is please add another mirror in the room so if someone is using the bathroom, we can have an extra mirror to get ready. Thanks

The accommodation is nothing more than a completely overpriced youth hostel. In the shared bathroom there is only one shower mat for two showers. In the restaurant you get ready-made pizza served for the price of a handmade pizza. A total rip-off. This was our worst experience on our entire Iceland trip, other hotels in the same price range offer a pleasant stay.

Very pricey hotel, location wise it is very perfect. Our room is huge since it's a triple room with a private bathroom. No toiletries available though so bring one for your own use. Breakfast is pre picked , with lesser variety and oftentimes we don't eat but it's their choice I was still full after.
