The owners make you feel at home, and were very friendly and hospitable. The house and rooms are very well kept and clean. They are pet friendly and are reasonably priced for this amenity. They have a nice sized gated dog park on the premise adding to the convenience. The complimentary breakfast was great and allowed us to meet the other guest and here about the history of the house and the city of Sumter.

Lovely and well maintained property with a very gracious host. Nice breakfast. My only observation is that a 40.00 pet fee for my 10 pound dog seemed excessive given that another family had three dogs and I doubt they paid more. We will stay again if in the area.

We would definitely stay again. Bed was very comfortable and loved the sitting area in the room. Bed and breakfast places are not for everyone but if you like them, you will love this one. Our few “hitches” I think would probably have been corrected had the owners been there. It would have been much better had the room been cooler but we still enjoyed our stay and this is also unseasonably warm in late September.
