The property itself is located near homes or other unusual properties,but it is very safe. It is maintained well, clean. Restaurant was great, there's pizza and other non mexican traditional foods, very clean.

Sylvia and Janine and other dedicated staff members made our two night stay an enjoyable one. Breakfasts were superb with a variety of foods. Check in and out were handled smoothly and other guests respectful and friendly.

We had a beautiful, cool room on the ground floor. It is about 10 - 15 minutes walk to the main square, felt very safe. And 10 minutes walk to cenote Zaci (go in the morning, definitely worth a visit). Breakfast had many options and staff was very polite.

Best little hotel & restaurant in Valladolid!

Casa San Juan is not a Marriot or a Hilton, but that’s the best part! The owners & staff are amazing and the place has so much charm! Johnny at the restaurant will take excellent care of you! The food is delicious and the breakfast buffet was the best! Valladolid was our first stop in the Yucatán Casa San Juan was our first hotel. We spent a month in the Yucatán and we missed Casa San Juan after our 3 night stay there! We walked everywhere in Valladolid! That being said, there a plenty of taxis and a motorcoach is $1-2 US from the Tren Maya to town center. We took a taxi from bus station to Casa San Juan. After that we walked. Great little town!

The room was cleaned with a strong smelling cleaner and it took 24 hours for the smell to dissipate. We asked for no room service during our stay as a result. Some daytime noise from adjoining industry. Obligatory dogs and roosters in the morning. Bit of a walk to the center of town. Overall the price was fair for what it was.

Restaurant was amazing! But the bathroom was leaking water , also the lights went off and on , ac wasn’t working , weather was 103. Reception didn’t want to do anything , I had to leave around 11pm because we couldn’t stand the heat. Wouldn’t recommend…

This motel is run very well by the staff. The room I stayed in was on ground level and seems to be the original motel. The room is rustic to a point of needing maintenance. There isn’t much space to put clothing away on, no garbage can for the main room, no hair dryer which I thought I saw in a photo from the property. The sheets had stains that weren’t removed from washing . The staff is hard working and friendly. The restaurant food is mediocre the servers are attentive. Although this review may seem negative , overall I would stay again. You asked what I thought of it, positive and negative .

Rude reception staff , dead slimey bird in the pool ,staff didnt notice! Wouldnt book a taxi for us unless it was for a tour, couldnt book Uber due to bad internet so had to walk into town or take your luck hailing a taxi. No one to help you take your luggage up 3 flights of narrow rickety stairs. The Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful is the only good thing I can say. There was also a white plaster dust substance falling from the ceiling in our room that coated everything.

Te roban dentro de las habitaciones sus empleados

Con una muy mala experiencia Le robaron dinero en la habitación de mi hija y mi yerno, el dueño del hotel al enterarse prefirió darle el día libre a la camarista quien fue la persona que robó el dinero. Dijeron que sin pruebas en video no harían nada, y que todo lo que te roben dentro de las habitaciones y áreas comunes deberán presentar videos para que te crean. En la noche apagan absolutamente todas las luces del patio por lo tanto si quieres ir a tu coche tendrás que comprar una linterna, se permiten fiestas a altas horas de la madrugada, la alberca está a dos metros de todas las habitaciones créanmelo no dormirán. Si quieren cuidar su integridad nunca vayan a este hotel.

Pésimo servicio de limpieza y lo peor es que te roban en las Habitaciones la gente limpieza en cuartos y los dueños y gerente no se hacen responsables de los daños !!

Il y a 2 piscines et personne ne s’y baigne car elles ne sont pas vraiment entretenues. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et il y a beaucoup de choix. L’hôtel est assez joli et les chambres aussi. Dans le centre ville, on peut marcher à pieds.

No es lo que parece en la pagina

Un hotel localizado en una colonia de Valladolid , el desayuno sin variedad y comida fría , el personal amable pero les falta mejorar , la alberca sucia que la verdad no se atina meterse además que la cierran a las 6:00pm . La verdad no regresaría

A decent hotel at a decent price...

A short walk away from the main tourist area this hotel was well priced and adequately comfortable. Breakfast was okay but lacked vegetarian options (except fruit and scrambled eggs that were in front of a chicken dish that dripped into them!). Hotel owner was very friendly. A decent hotel at a fair price. Rooms were very clean although pool was not.

Great place to stay. It is quite a walk to the center but that did not bother us since we enjoying experiencing the city views. We felt safe, staff were very welcoming. Totally recommend it.
