One-night stay

Amenities were okay for a one-night stay. Staff responded very quickly to all of my enquires before checking in and the check-in was very straightforward and easy to follow. A bonus for this hotel is that they provide parking.
Mariana, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very welcoming, excellent staff, everything was clean but a bit old and tired looking. The manager went out of his way to be polite, helpful and seemed that he wanted us to have a great time.

2/10 Poor

Worst ever.

The pictures on the website are extremely deceiving. The property is dilapidated and falling apart. The building is dirty and smells. The facilities in the room were terrible. I now understand why they say no refunds. I had to move out early and left my money with them. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Property went missing from the room.
3-night trip

2/10 Poor

This room should not be available for rent. It was difficult to breathe, probably due to mold. Bugs were crawling en masse on the floor, and moths were swirling in the air. I’m not picky, but I didn’t want to stay there—my daughter preferred to sleep in the car, and my wife, who has asthma, couldn’t breathe properly. In the end, we got a hotel room instead, so we only spent about an hour in this miserable room. At best, I would recommend using it as a bike shed.
Johan, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Didn’t see a human being the whole time I was there. Checked in myself, nobody around even though the bumph says someone will greet you, left without seeing anyone at 8.15am. Decor very tired. Door falling off wardrobe, lock falling off the door. Bed comfy enough and the price was low for. Agh so I worked for the 13 hours I needed to be there. Tea and coffee making facilities good.

Good stay

Great hotel, just outside the main town centre. Quite a quirky place, i've stayed many times and always had good service.
Stephen, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Very worn, bad smell and no one to talk to there to complain, it was cheap so guess get what you pay for
Eliot, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Perfect central location for business meetings in the area
Winston, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Only thing against was that the reading lights beside the bed were not bright enough to read by. It is a long way from the centre of Bath on foot and that should be pointed out to guests who can catch a bus or find a taxi. ("near the M4 roundabout " would be useful directions).
Simon, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

There were no staff on arrival and it seemed they wanted to rely on self check in with info sent to you by messages and emails. (Of which I was inundated) I struggled to find my room and when I did the code I was given didn’t work until the fifth time of trying. The room felt dirty and the carpet by the window had lifted up. The room was dated and in need of maintenance / redecoration.
Ashley, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Having parking onsite was really convenient. The bed and breakfast was very quaint and comfortable.
Benjamin, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Situated out of Bath city centre close to Bathampton and high has a beautiful gastropub. Property a little tired from the outside due to its age. Lovely superior room, four poster bed, spotlessly clean, white sheets and thick towels. Carpet threadbare near the window but didn’t detract from the cleanliness. Shower head could do with descaling. Adequate continental breakfast and owners very pleasant.
Wendy, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Thed was uncomfortably and the carpet was sticky, clammy
Eulende, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice room , clean, nice view fro the widow , it was fine !
Tatjana, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I would never recommend this hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor, no elevator and the room was shocking. Worn and dilapidated. There is no one to talk to, no lobby or anyone working there. we only saw one person ( very friendly) who was doing breakfast which was £8 continental (pretty dismal) or £15 for hot breakfast which we never had. The reviews gave it a rating of 8.8, but if you look, that number was from years ago. The shower drizzles out and you have to run it for ages before you get hot water. Once that came in it was fine. Again, we could not wait to get out of there.
Joanne, 2-night trip

John, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Cheap but not cheap enough. You can accept the property is dated and run down for the price but it is really not very nice. The WiFi simply doesn’t work, carpets and furniture is threadbare. You can get so much better for not a lot more. Won’t be staying again
Andrew, 1-night trip

Nice Hotel

It was a bit far away from the center but we took the bus so no problem. It was historical builduing and we like the place.
