It was fine. It was convenient to restaurants in town. They were doing construction on it but that was ok. The bedroom and bathroom was clean. Shower was fine. Room was a bit small for two twin beds--they could not really be separated so it was like sleeping in the same bed. They were supposed to contact me the day before with check in instructions, but I didnt get any info and was a bit worried till I reached someone by phone. Once there, the check in was fine.

This was my first stay at the guesthouse, so I can't make comparisons. I stayed on the first floor, and there were four bedrooms with two beds each (? Not sure. There are two shower rooms (there are no shelves or hanging space, so you cannot bring your towels or personal items). The bathroom is so small that it is difficult to move around, and there is only one for four bedrooms. (Probably at least eight guests)

We stayed in the apartment, with the private parking space it made it very convenient, and accessible. The shower was gorgeous and it was nice to have our own space. The check-in was different than what I am used to, you have to call and then the receptionist drives up, but it doesn't take long for her to get there though. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay in the guesthouse. I was on main floor and found it was very quiet even though most of the rooms were occupied. Called ahead to get my room number and the key was in the door when I arrived which was great! There is a shared bathroom but I never had to wait to use it, and it was very clean. The shared kitchen had everything needed to make dinner, they even supplied basics like tea/coffee/spices etc. and plenty of seating. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Would stay here again!

Horrible, filthy and extremely small.

Rooms extra small, i think prisoners have bigger and more comfortable spaces, also very dirty and withiut plugs to recharge electric devices... Bathroom was horrible dirtyamd only one for 5 rooms.. Kitchen only 2 pots for all the guest.. next time I will sleep in my car..

Loved the location of this property. Sticky notes by front door were the “reception.” Property seems to be run from afar; when we arrived the place was pretty messy. One bath/shower for 4 double rooms, and one small kitchen for whole house was inadequate. Garbage was full, dishwasher leaked, but folks I had contact with were nice. No freezer

À ce prix 233€ , quelle arnaque ! Il s’agit plutôt d’un genre d’auberge de jeunesse, salle de bains et toilettes communes (non précisé dans la réservation) , aucun service (pas d’accueil, pas de petit déjeuner) , trou dans notre porte pour la clé, bâtiment vétuste de l’extérieur… ça vaut 5€ en Asie et 50€ en France À fuire

We had an issue with adding a payment to a reservation and we were met after hours at the door by the property owner. After finding out that we may not be incredibly comfortable with a shared bathroom, she offered an upstairs private apartment that slept our whole party. Great customer service and very kind lady. We were thankful for her generosity and flexibility!

Wir hatten irgendwie überlesen, dass man in dieser Unterkunft nur Gemeinschaftsbäder besitzt. Dies beiseite gestellt, war es jedoch eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit einer guten Lage (direkt am Hafen in der Nähe von allen Restaurants/Imbissen von Höfn). Die wirklich außerordentlich sauberen Gemeinschaftsbäder boten viel Privatsphäre und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Der Check-In war durch Zettel an einer Pinnwand sehr einfach geregelt. Für uns Vier mit vier Koffern war das Zimmer etwas klein, aber dennoch für eine Nacht durchaus gut machbar.
