1. We were happy to get a Gulf view room and were happy to pay for this. No one disclosed that our view was over very loud daily pool construction. Power washers running early. Cement trucks backing into the area. Loud. We wanted rest and relaxation.
2. Bugs. Sand flies in our bathroom. Dozens of them. Nowhere else. We’re told that we must be letting them in. We spend most days out if the room so I doubt this.
3. Beach access. Close boardwalk was closed due to already mentioned construction. Forced to walk to opposite end of hotel (and it is very long) to go to tbe beach. Horrible on my bad knees.
4. Expensive. No discount for construction area. Not even mentioned.
