Nice lil Lodge in the heart of Mountains
Loved the attached Bar! Also, the dinner was a nice touch as well as the convenience store. We loved learning about the Lodge's history as well.

Neat little place to visit. Check-in guy was friendly. Room was comfortable and although the roads getting to it were very curvy, we enjoyed our short time there.

A Diamond in the Ruff
I took my wife there for her Birthday. We needed to find a nice place away from the hectic city and crowds from our visit to the Boardwalk.
We stayed 2 nights and this place did not disappoint. It has a little cafe, a store and a nice bar that has live bands on Friday and Saturday.
We were greeted by the Hotel front desk person with big smiles and friendly personality. He recommended several places to eat and reviewed a map of the area for us. He also invited us to eat at the cafe which also delvers to the Bar on premise.
This place is a Diamond in the ruff..

This is definitely a quaint option but so cute for the area and rooms were very clean. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Walls were thin and could hear neighbors walking around very easily but to be expected in an old building. Would stay here again.

Has seen better times
A nice area, but the hotel needs a new remodel or upgrade. Everything is just okay, but could be better.

The power went out, the toilet wasn’t working, and they had a generator to keep the food in the restaurant from spoiling, but it was so loud we couldn’t sleep. My kids and I were in a dark room for hours with no service, Wi-Fi because there was a major power outage.

Wonderful quiet historic setting. Short drive to some unique restaurants. Reasonably priced.
Nice patio or balcony. $50 a day extra for a small quiet dog is a bit steep but still a fair price. Close to Santa Cruz and San Jose by car
in the Redwood forest...heavenly!

I booked this lodge to be off the beaten path and quiet and it was cool. There is a store and bar on property (bar on weekends only). The room was clean and comfortable. It had a little balcony that was nice to sit and relax on. The hotel was only a 15 minute drive into Santa Cruz. The staff was friendly and helpful.
