Staff great, amazing buffet. Weather was horrible, all of them helped get me out of car, wind so strong i was trapped. They also took great care of unexpected bus tour, the tour group challenging but they were professional whole time. Amazing for such young people, worked well as team.

Very efficiently run place. Close to the Ytri beach and local bath. Clean room. Tea and coffee was available 24 hours in the main dining area but just to have tea in your room early morning without having to dress decently would have been nice. The buffet dinner was very good, lots of variety of good. Get a taste of all Icelandic food. Worth the money.

There is an older section and newer section. The older section is "basic" as advertised. I stayed in the older "basic" section (my mistake) and would not recommend it. It is run down, the bathroom has no separation between sink and shower, furniture was damaged, heat did not work, old crinkled print as art work, make-shift desk, minimal space, no black-out shades, etc. I should note, the newer section of the hotel does look very nice.

Excellemt location and amazing views! (We were lucky with good weather). Staff were pleasant and helpfull. Only negative is the room had no closet, bureau or place to put suitcases. We had them open on the floor and balanced on chairs! But other than that we highly recommend it!
