The location shown on the map was totally different. Look clise to Haram on map but don't fool a huge bridge and roads need to cross to reach in a hotel. Very inconvenience compared to the price you pay. The shower room has no door when I complain they did nothing. For a soap or shampoo you needs to call several times to get it. Thank you

Tikal Jabal is a beautiful hotel with excellent rooms, service and breakfast. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Nasir Ali, Hossain, Jiban and kawsar helped us a lot during our stay. Will surely only stay here for our next visit.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Shaza Makka hotel. The staff were super helpful, friendly and always eager to help. The place is very clean and the room is very well designed. The hotel is very close to Haram and it takes about 7-10 minutes walk.

Lovely hotel, rooms are clean and in good condition but are small. I’ve stayed here before and loved it. Breakfast is great and staff are always helpful. Very close to haram but there is quite a steep uphill back to the hotel which would be difficult for elderly. Park is available at a cost.

It was great, but the toilet needs some replacements like the sink and the sink table (looks dirty and old), I would prefer to have speakers of AlHaram at the room (there were none, and that was so disappointing to me).

Smaller rooms. Great buffet breakfast with wide options, great location to the Kaabah and you can even see the clock tower from main entrance. Wifi is very poor and doesn’t even allow photos and videos to be sent. If wifi was fixed I would stay again longer.

Beautiful hotel. Super inconvenient to get to surprisingly. Absolutely NO one in the Haram knows where the hotel is. whether they are a guard, soldier, taxi driver, pedestrian, beggar, no one knows the name Shaza. And then the shuttle bus service is super poor and the traffic areas it drops you off to is dangerous. Overall, IF you can get to the hotel, you’ll have a tremendous stay. If not, good luck finding the hotel 😭😔

I must say that all the staff from the front desk to housekeeping to Bell / Luggage helper, strive to deliver the best without seeking any tips or rewards. I was in floor 2100 Room # 5 and was shocked to see that they have assigned a specific housekeeper for each floor. This 2100 housekeeping staff was so diligent in his work that as soon as he saw me opening my door, right away he came to see if I need anything to make my stay better. I haven't seen that kind of service from any of the hotel staff in the past. My flight was early morning and the manager Nadiah arranged a beautiful early breakfast bag for two of us that includes, juice, coffee, fruits, various cheese, pasteries, etc. We enjoyed our stay at Shaza Makkah and we will deffinitely come back. Thank you Nadiah for making our stay so beautiful.

Good Five Star Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay, this my 3rd time in 3years staying at shaza hotel Makkah. I think they should check more of upgrade as few things are getting worn out in the hotel thereby not making it a Five star, example is towels are worn out and the bathroom shower hand held is pouring out water and I complained but still wasn’t fixed. But I’ve always loved shaza and I think they should always give hotel.com token to be given to returning customers. Shaza as whole is a very generous hotel as most of the rooms comes with free breakfast which is a plus for me. Will like to thank Mr. Shamshad his always helpful checking if we needed anything and he always agrees to clean the room late evening when I’m going out, thumps up to him, and Mr. Salem was very much helpful in making our check out easy as he helps in taking my heavy luggage down and making sure not forgetting anything. Thank you Shaza and will always be there when I’m in Makkah.

5 star living, amazing Breakfast

The room had a sewage smell in it. It was very annoying and after a day and a half we complained and they changed our room but that caused a lot of hassle. It was late at night had to wait a couple of hrs. Also had to move all our stuff so it was inconvenient. Atleast they changed it. Otherwise it was an awesome place . Breakfast was top of the line. Haram was 4 mins walking but to walk to the main entrance was 12 mins walk. They have a shuttle that takes you below the haram and you can walk up to the centre of masjid. It had a steep incline to get to the hotel, so I wouldn’t advise for families with old people or young children. But the then rate was 2/3rds of hotels in the clock tower. So it is something you will have weigh out. Higher price or more walking.

Despite the polite and welcoming reception staff, my experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory. The room service was completely unhelpful. When I tried to order food from outside, I was met with a dry, dismissive tone and was flat-out told they would not bring it up to my room. Additionally, the location is much farther from Al Haram than advertised. You’re forced to rely on the hotel shuttle, which is highly inconvenient. Overall, the stay was not worth the hassle. I do not recommend this hotel and I will definitely not be returning.
