First: Once in the last 10+ years have I stayed in a hotel in the Utah Valley area that wasn't a slum. Usually, old, dirty and moldy with things patched instead of actually repaired/replaced. This was fortunately slightly better than that. And thats where good fortune ends. I paid over $600 for 3 days so I was expecting better then the past.
I booked this room so my daughter, who lives in a crowded appt with many roommates would have a place to recover immediately after surgery, and I could take care of her post surgery.
Booked a room that had photos showing a mini kitchen. It had none. Needed water, ice, at least a mini-fridge with a freezer portal for icepacks etc. None! Had a fridge that had no freezer section but upon packing up discovered veggies I stored for me in were parially frozen. Ruined. Ice is only available on 1st floor. We were on the 4th!
As soon as I opened the door to the room, I was overwhelmed with the odor. It stunk!! Smelled like a wet dog or seriously dirty socks!
Bed was ok but pillows were terrible. Been home for days and I still have knots in my neck and shoulders.
The breakfast is false advertising. Should not be listed as an amenity. There were boiled eggs (fine if you aren't allergic), but the rest was all bread and sugary things. No milk alternatives. Yogurt was in a community dispenser. No--ZERO--accomodation for allergies and dietary concerns.
I will NEVER come again.
