Great location between the busier shops and the more traditional areas of Gion. This hotel room was huge compared to some of its counterparts in Tokyo. Comfy bed, great bathroom and shower. Walking distance to trains and buses. Loved it.

The hotel is located in Gion area and it was amazing. The staff speak English and the check-in/check-out process was quick and smooth. The rooms are spacious and clean. Few steps away is the Hard Rock Cafe and the main shopping street is across the hotel from the main road. Gion is packed with sightseeing shrines and temples. Some of them have a light show at night. This hotel is awesome. Iโ€™m definitely coming back again

The rooms were as exepected, small compact but definitely clean. The staff was great and friendly, prompt on check out(theyโ€™ll call or knock at 10 AM). The neighborhood is ideal as itโ€™s across the bridge from everything, a brisk walk. In terms of culture, across the bridge is more metropolitan and cosmo where the hotel is is definitely a working class community. We also noticed that the street becomes what looks to be lady bars or clubs at night, mainly thurs-sat. So donโ€™t be surprised if you see plenty of Japanese business men by the droves hitting up the clubs.
