This resort is very beautiful. Sea view from the room and sunset view from the infinity pool were simply spectacular. The restaurant offered nice view as well. We went to a restaurant in the adjacent resort, Westin. The grounds were stunning. Spending a couple of more nights there should be nicer.

Beautiful property, junior suite, and view of lagoon and sea. Great design and helpful staff. We had an issue with smoke smell in our first room ( was supposed to be non smoking but previous guests ignored this) and the manager made it right within minutes. The young woman with long brown hair who checked us in was very professional and knowledgeable. She made everything smooth for us. Thank you

What a wonderful time and an even more wonderful staff. From Eyad, the hotel manager, to Ismael and Kenneth from the restaurant, to the warm and contagious smile of Suha. This stay had no misses. Ann from housekeeping was a delight. I absolutely loved everything about my stay. There was an issue with my food order and Ahmad at the pool immediately notified the manager, they rectified the issue immediately and made me feel welcomed. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Aqaba. This trip and the time at Al Manara was everything I needed and more.

This hotel is great and the staff are super helpful and friendly. It is a short cab ride from the hotel to Ayla Marina and a 15 min walk to the main st in Aqaba. The staff here are very attentive and friendly. The amenities in the rooms are great and pool / beach areas are super nice. The only down side is that the hotel doesn’t offer any water sports

Well worth the money

We enjoyed the beauty of the resort, swimming in the lagoon before sunset, eating the fine buffet dinner (including freshly broiled fish and some other seafood) on the patio, the quality of the room, the view of the Red Sea and lagoon from the room's balcony, the gentle cats on the hotel's grounds, the mild northerly breezes in November, swimming and sunbathing on the beach on the Red Sea, and the focused effort of the hotel staff to make the stay perfect.

I sustained a foot injury while swimming at their supposedly clean beach. Despite seeking assistance from the administration office, none was provided. I had to personally take a cab to the hospital for treatment. Surprisingly, there was no follow-up or concern from the hotel staff regarding my injury. Such oversight is unacceptable, especially for a prestigious hotel of this caliber.

Outstanding resort in Aqaba - 10 out of 10

Al Manara is a beautiful hotel located in a perfect location. The hotel has a gorgeous pool and two very beautiful beaches which are quite large. Everyone at the hotel is incredibly friendly, in particular Eyad the General Manager of the hotel who got to know us by name throughout our stay. I would like to highlight a few other standout employees such as Jean at the Taybeh restaurant who always made each of our meals so pleasant with her great service. Amer and his recreation team did a great job as well. I was also pleasantly surprised at how focused Ahmad and all of the lifeguards were keeping everyone safe. And Mohammad always made us feel welcome by offering us coffee every time we entered the resort. The hotel is brand new, quite large, and just a great place to be at. I highly recommend it as I think it is the best one in Aqaba. If you happen to want to scuba dive when you are there Fajir who works at Sea Breeze Divers does a great job booking your tour and I can't recommend that company enough. We had a great day snorkeling and diving and they were without a doubt one of the best dive shops I have ever worked with.

Al Manara is the best hotel we’ve stayed at during our Jordan visit and definitely a must stay if you’re ending your trip in Aqaba. We started off in our trip Amman in a “5 star” hotel where the experience was horrible, dirty and old room, and very expensive and frankly bad food. So heading to our last stop we didn’t have much expectation. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! First of all we had no ideas Al Manara was in fact under Marriott hotel brand. It’s actually part of a larger development where it’s situated next to a Westin and more hotels being built right across the way. The service from the concierge to the restaurant staff were all well trained and is comparable to any big city 5 star hotel. They even offered us a 4pm checkout time knowing we had a very late flight. The rooms were spacious and clean and have everything you need. Al Manara also has several pools along with a private beach, perfect for unwinding after driving through the length of Jordan. The food was also terrific! Food in Jordan frankly is a bit hit or miss, same cannot be said here. The food not only was on par with a major city, it’s also very affordable! We happened to be there during Christmas Eve and enjoyed a scrumptious Christmas buffet. And as an added bonus , if you’re a cat lover definitely ask to sit outside. There’s a pregnant mama cat that roams the restaurant politely asking for food, and there’s also many kittens eager to be fed as well (as long as the bossy mama cat isn’t around, the

Beautiful place with high end service

Very nice stay at this hotel. There’s a beach directly on the Red Sea with bar and meal service. The team was at our service the whole stay to answer any request. Nice rooms and clean. The Mediterranean restaurant outside was a must!
