Check-in was awful, it was scheduled for 3pm but we didn’t get our room till about 6pm. I requested cleaning service for the room along with new towels, they never came to clean and when they finally showed up with the towels said they could only provide us with 2/4, even though we were 4 guests. Reception hours aren't 24hrs, hours are from 8-10pm, but when I went in the morning no one arrived until 8:30am. The service at the Maria restaurant was also awful, took forever to get service and when we did finally get around to ordering we waited for over an hour and a half, eventually had to cancel the order and go elsewhere.

The property is absolutely beautiful! The pool and rooms and everything. However, the water in the showers felt like beach water. It was clear that the water wasn't filtered. But outside of that it was extremely calming and relaxing. The restaurant at the resort was also beautiful!

Location was nice, the food took an hour to two hours. Check in was a headache, first they told us that check in was not at 3 but 6, that in the website says 3 bit they don’t have to give the room until 6. Also they charge the same amount for the room you are staying as a deposit to make sure there is nothing missing from the property. Never heard of the same amount put on hold as a deposit to get it cleared from 3-6 days.

This villa had a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. The Maria restaurant directly next door had nice meals and sunset dining. The difficulty of the restaurant next door was that it was loud in the evenings (music, dishes and staff talking, singing). This villa is in need of much attention especially for the price they are asking for daily rental. It is bare bones inside and minimal care has been taken with upkeep. Yard never private as staff is always coming by to clean pool or garden in and out all day. One word of caution…when checking they put a $1000 hold on our credit card which was not a concern however upon check out we were told upon inspection where each item of the home was inventoried to ensure we didn’t steal anything, we were told that the mattresses had urine stains and that our children (who are 13 and 15) “pee peed” in the beds. I assured them my teens have not wet the bed in a decade and upon showing them every matress even my own had urine stains they finally agreed and released my $1000 back to my credit card. The room with the 2 queens had the worst urine stained mattresses I’ve ever seen. Before leaving my wife always helps the staff and fully strips the beds. I was embarrassed being blamed and realized they must not remove the cotton mattress topper if they did not know the stains were there. This is a whole other hygiene issue if that is the case. FYI make them show you the mattresses upon check in they don’t try to charge you.

Die Reception hat den Fokus leider nicht auf die Gäste, wir wollten bei der Poolanlage bleiben konnten aber wegen Gepäck das Auto nicht an der Sonne lassen, einzige Parkmöglichkeit an der Reception, Pool ist weit weg mit allen PP an der Sonne. Nur nach mehrmaligem Fragen wurde ich per Golfwagen zum Pool gebracht, zurück musste ich einen Abfangen da die Reception niemanden organisieren konnte/nicht erreichbar war. Sehr coole Poolanlage mit Wasserfall, Bett sehr hart, Essen am Pool sehr gut. Durchaus ein durchmischter Besuch....

I loved the ocean view and the villa we rented was beautiful. Food was great also. Did not like that we were misled to believe the villa was 100% consumable. The reception informed us that all reservations done via expedia.com do not qualify for this offer. Did not care to give us any discount or any help. They wanted us to cancel our expedia booking and pay them cash. They insisted on receiving $300 as a hold instead of $200 as stated on expedia’s website. Got to the villa and the second day the kitchen had a foul smell, and we did not have hot water for two days.
