Highly recommend!

Loved our stay at Domus Corsini! Stayed here the last two days of our Rome trip. Accommodations are very comfortable, clean and spacious especially by European standards. The common area with a kitchenette is also a nice touch. Location is excellent for exploring Travestere as well as other points of interest in historic district. Plenty of places to eat/drink within minutes of stepping out the door.

Not a fan of virtual check in. Navigating the entry to the hotel was stressful and difficult. Instructions were lengthy. Required separate steps. Main door, gate, apartment, and room. Each had a different process. Remote door locks were temperamental and not intuitive. One door you turn clockwise the other counter clockwise. Locking door was yet another challenge.

This property is steps away from the heart of Trastevere. We booked 3 days here and the experience was good. The room overlooks a beautiful courtyard with a galleria attached to it. The room itself was massive with large bed and plenty of space to leave luggage. We were even treated to a small bottle of bubbly. The host sent us all the information for accessing the room a week prior through What’s App. This is where things can get a bit finicky as accessing this property is done entirely through a link they send you, involving pressing buttons on your phone to open 4 doors to get to your room. The WiFi outside the space isn’t great and our network service was low at times so it took a few tries to get through to our room. We had a nice stand in shower, though the hot water wasn’t that hot so we had to shower quickly. There was also a sewage smell coming from the drains while we were there at times. For our first time in Rome, this was a good property. Breakfast isn’t provided, but they do have a lovely cafe just around the corner and all of the hotspots of Rome are walking distance or a quick taxi. All the restaurants and shops of Trastevere and the botanical garden are all super close too.

This was a unique property that felt perfectly safe and secure. It was in a perfect location for exploring the city, yet was in a quiet, pleasant location. The room was of a good size, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The fridge was a bonus but made the wardrobe it was in extremely warm. It was good to have a safe for our belongings. The bathroom and shower were great, with gels, shampoo etc topped up daily. The shared kitchen was useful and well stocked with crockery etc. The furniture in the kitchen was beginning to look a little tired however. The manager, Annamarie was really helpful, always responding to our emails promptly and helping arranging taxi, etc. The check-in procedure was also very easy. We met the cleaner on a couple of occasions and she was very pleasant and friendly. Probably the two negatives were that the air conditioning in the room, whilst working, didnt cool the room particularly effectively. Also, whilst there was a balcony to sit on it was very small and could barely take the two chairs provided. We would however stay here again and would recommend it for a short term stay.

My only reservation was that I came expecting a hotel facility. I didn’t think I read the descriptions well enough. So I came expecting to spend time in the lobby before check in and found myself on the street. However, the staff was more than cooperative and allowed me to come in early. Lovely arts and crafts store downstairs and its kind manager made the waiting worthwhile. I think I’ve found my home away from home on Rome

This was a lovely place to stay that was steps from the restaurants and shops of Trastevere. We were very happy with our time there. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. An excellent choice when you are a tourist in Rome!

O quarto e o banheiro eram muito confortáveis, mas o anuncio não exemplifica o que é. Entende-se que é um hotel, mas na verdade é um grande apartamento, com suites reservadas e uma cozinha compartilhada.Todas as suites tinham privacidade, mas a minha expectativa quando reservei era ser um hotel, até porque era o dia que eu ia embarcar de volta para São Paulo e precisaria de uma recepção para deixar as malas. Outros tres pontos negativos: - frigobar quebrado no quarto em um calor de 35 graus em Roma, avisei, não resolveram e pediram pra usar a geladeira compartilhada - cofre era uma caixa solta dentro do armario - o acesso da porta do prédio, do apartamento e da suite era feita pela internet e só descobrimos 2 dias antes quando mandaram msg. Se não tivessemo internet ou se acabasse a bateria do celular, estariamos com um problema
