Working Trip

Booked for 2 nights as I was working at The Platform music venue which was a 15 minute walk away. I received a lovely warm welcome from the owner who carried my bags to my room. I booked a single room but the bed was a double which was lovely. Excellent amenities and I had a lovely cooked breakfast. I didn't make it back to the hotel until the early hours of the morning after work but this wasn't a problem as I was given keys to let myself in. Overall a wonderful stay :)

Visited for the music festival

I came for the weekend of the music festival and stayed for two nights. It was a great hotel in every way. The breakfast dishes on offer were superb and there were lots of options (omlettes, smoked salmon, maple syrup for the toast) They had high quality coffee as well. The room and bed quality were excellent as was the bathroom. And the owner is a really nice person

Lovely clean friendly B&B overlooking the bay at the quieter east end of the promenade. Nothing was too much trouble for John and Edward, they even cleared a space in their garage to allow us to park our classic mini out of sight. Fabulous breakfast with plenty of choice cooked fresh to order, comfy bed and a great base to explore the local area and the Lakes. We will definitely return for a longer break next time!

John and Edward are very welcoming and friendly . We had a sea view room on the top floor which had lovely views and was very comfortable. Every possible drink you can think of on the hospitality tray ... hot chocolate , decaf coffee , speciality teas, even crisps and chocolate biscuits. Breakfast served quickly, well cooked and hot. For dog lovers our 2 Chihuahuas were served with sausages in their own litrle bowl for breakfast. Will return again

I had a wonderful stay at the Craigwell. My single room was a comfortable size and spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel, and very well appointed. Ed the proprietor was friendly and helpful with anything I needed to know which was important as I had not been to Morecambe before. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and a good size. I cannot fault this hotel or Ed who I hope to see again if I return to Morecambe which as a town is much better than some of the reviews.

Great place to stay. Very friendly manager. During check-in I felt like in the best class hotel, the manager brought my baggage upstairs to my nice, comfortable, cozy room with a sea view. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order, served in style like in good restaurant. I enjoyed my stay and recommend the Craigwell hotel and definitely I will come back in the future.
