Great location for the hotel. Staff was great and amazing, especially enjoyed offerings of complimentary late night ramen and desserts. I chose Onyado Nono because of the onsen yet this hotel turned out the best accommodation we booked for Japan holiday. First when we checked in, the staff are friendly and accommodating; the location is so central from Dotonbori, train station, restaurants and shops. We booked the one with cleaning services and they do clean the room very well and replenish the amenities. On top of that, you can enjoy Japanese ryokan experience and be barefoot and relax in the onsen. Okay all of these awesome things don't even stop here, they're so thoughtful and provide free yakult, popcicles and soba for supper. My kids don't even want to leave this hotel!

My family and I enjoyed a few nights stay here. It is very centrally located to many popular osaka sites and an easy walk to get food and to shop. The hotel room was spacious for 3 of us and having acres to the public bath daily was amazing and convenient! each time was relaxing and the hotel felt well maintained, clean and safe. breakfast each morning was yummy and we never had to wait long (always went early to beat the rush). evening ramen was a nice touch too. overall we enjoyed your stay and the room was quiet and comfortable and AC worked well. would return again!

Nice property, clean and near Dotonbori. Walking distance to markets and food. Our bathroom has a pee smell near the toilet area. We sprayed but smell was still there. Hotsprings area was really nice and clean and they have free washing but need to pay to dry which is reasonable. Nice touch with the free ice cream and free ramen noodles at night.

Read my previous rating regarding the location of the hotel. This rating is different due to separate check in to another room. We were pleased with the size of the room. However, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling and amenities requires an update, the bed room windows were dusty by the bed boards and our pillows were old with slight colouring.

We were not fully satisfied with our 3-night stay. The bedding was not changed during our entire stay, and even though my child was sick and used up all the tissues, they were never refilled. One thing I’m not sure about—when I first booked, I listed 2 adults. Later, I read online that children need to be included separately in Japan (I live in the U.S. and wasn’t aware of this rule), so I updated the guest information to 2 adults and 1 child. The room type stayed the same, but I was charged an extra fee. Just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with a child. I do like the location of the hotel, very convenient.

This is a very nice traditional Japanese hotel. You must take off your shoes and put them in lockers before you head over to your room. You can take them up to your room but just not wearing them. Our experience with the staff was very warm and welcoming. There is a dinning area on the first floor and when we arrived they were serving free bowls of ramen to the guests. It hit the spot for our first night! I expected the rooms to be small but honestly our room felt quite spacious. Maybe because we had two beds. They also provided comfortable pijamas. Overall the hotel had a calm and relaxing environment so it is a perfect place to come rest up. Very pleased with our stay and highly recommend.

I loved the fact you had to take off your shoes. It gives you a real feel for the culture, BUT it was a false safety net because I THOUGHT it’d be a really clean hotel, but it’s misleading and leaves a false impression to “wipe” your wheels to your luggage down and take off your shoes when the floors are dirty, sheets are dirty, and old brushes are found in your room. I didn’t feel clean at all here, and the rooms are TINY. I had new white socks on and they were black after half a day. But the location is GREAT.

The pictures and description of the room were not accurate. It says our room sleeps 4 people but it only has 2 twin beds. We are 2 adults and one child and had a difficult time trying to sleep comfortably. When we asked the front desk, they were unable to help as the hotel was full. We luckily were able to push the beds together but one of us had to sleep where the gap was. Not something I expect for amount we paid. We tried to find another hotel but no success. I can’t imagine how 4 adults can fit into 2 twin beds. The description was misleading and so as were the images of the beds.
