Great location, Simple rooms
+ve: great location, value for money, complimentary breakfast, newly built building (2016)
-ve: so-so service, small rooms
Overall, this is a good hotel for persons who are willing to explore old parts of Dhaka in a reasonable budget. Service was generally okay, thou not very responsive.
I exchanged some US$ into Bangla takka from the hotel. On my last night I asked them the exchange rate if I want to return unspent takkas and have US$ back. The receptionist said that he will tell me in half an hour. I asked after 1 hour and he again promised to tell the rate after asking the manager. He never did. On check-out I was told that the hotel does not change takka into US$ (even for their customers, who have exchanged US$ from hotel). I expected a better customer service.
