This is a hostel, not a hotel. We stayed on the top floor in an en suite corner room with bunkbeds for 4. Very clean. Large bathroom. Otherwise very small room. There were 3 small uncovered but lovely balconies filled with flowers and other flora off of our room which was an unexpected bonus. Only the top floor has these balconies. Great views from the balconies and great areas in good weather. Perfect for a one or two night layover when weather is good. Would want something much larger for a longer stay or a stay in inclement weather.

We loved staying at the Steel House! We booked a private room for four people. It was small, but had what we needed. The bar downstairs is lots of fun to hang out at, and the kitchen facility is great! We also loved renting bikes for the day from the hostel - pretty good price too. Great area and easy to get to popular sites in the city as transit is nearby. We didn't pay for any of the amenities other than bikes and kitchen, but there is a pool, gym, etc. that you can pay to use. Great vibes overall!

Overall, we had a great stay at Steel House! Negatives: - Room wasn't super clean - hair and dust around some places - Be aware that pool costs 25dkk per person, per hour slot (this is mentioned but I didn't find it super obvious) Positives: - Good location, abkut a 15/20 min walk away from most tourist attractions, with buses and train station nearby. Close to both a Lidl and a Netto (similar to Lidl) - Very friendly staff - Great kitchen facilities with fridges - Easy check-in and check-out system

A little disappointing

Stayed for 4 nights in a double room. Positives: The staff were friendly, good location, and the facilities in the reception were very good. Nice lively atmosphere as well. Negatives: The room was smaller than expected with minimal storage. It could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived, both bedding and the room. There were very frequent knocking noises from the utilities in the building all hours, presumably from the toilets. Could have been more generous with the towels, also no hand towels or bathroom mat in the room. And finally the tv remote didn’t work.

Probably one of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is paid, yet they don’t even provide basic items like salt and sugar. It’s also very dirty for most of the day. It gets overcrowded, and there’s often not enough space for everyone. I paid to use the kitchen but ended up eating out because there was no available space or stove to cook my meal. On top of that, they close it at midnight, and you can’t use it again until the next day. You pay for it, but you can’t even use it whenever you need. The location is great, but the hostel was very disappointing.

Well organised place that gives you alll you need

Well organised place: you have a locker for your shoes, then a locker for your bag, a place to lock your bigger trolley bags, and a small locker for your valuables at your bed. The bathroom provides some essentials like tooth brush and razors, as well as shampoo etc. laundry available as well. The bed was good and I enjoy capsule hotels like this. I am 180cm and I fit in ok, so any person bigger than 190cm may find this too small. Place is totally clean and well maintained, everything worked as it should.
