Lovely place to stay, a bit out of town but that was good to get away from the crowds. Very clean and well presented. We had the one bedroom apartment which was great with heaps of room. Highly recommend staying here

Must be almost brand new. Contemporary, well stocked kitchenette and room. We liked being away from the crowds downtown. Wonderful view of mountains from room.

Our one bedroom apartment at The West Meadows motel was exceptional with brand, new modern furniture and top-of-the-line appliances. There was a separate bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed, and television in the bedroom. There was a second television in a large comfortable living space that also included a stereo system for music. We stayed on the second floor, and even though there are no elevators, there is a separate parking lot upstairs so that you can simply wheel your luggage into your bedroom. The shower could benefit from replacement of the showerhead as the water spray could not be directed and was spread too widely but otherwise we had no complaints. The laundry on the grounds was clean and worked well. The motel is located on a major road so we slept with the windows closed and it was quiet. it is a short drive to downtown. We would highly recommend this motel and Wānaka.

This is a great property and easy to get to grocery stores and downtown Wanaka. They totally remodeled in October 2024 and the hotel was great. Highly recommend!
