What a lovely hotel! The view from my room was amazing. The room itself was stunning and had all the extra touches that make your stay memorable. If it had been warmer I would have sat on the welcoming balcony, looking out to sea. Lovely location and stunning hotel.

A lovely, fresh and clean hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are neat and kept to a high standard, the decor is just what you want being by the sea. There were some lovely unexpected touches too, like a Nespresso machine and chocolates in the fridge. Overall a really nice stay :)

Best place I’ve stayed in a long while. Comfortable king size bed with continental quilt, rain fall shower. Mini fridge had complimentary soft drinks and snacks. Great sound proofing, once I switched off the a/c heating was in prefect silence. Tv only has freeview, but not an issue these days. Breakfast wide choice of things. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Really good views and very nice staff. Hotel is slightly outside the centre of Torquay but is walkable in about 20 minutes. The restaurant was unfortunately very poor; our first evening we were unable to have our full meal due to “technical difficulties”. The second evening we waited 30 minutes to order even drinks and then there were multiple errors with the order; they did at least give us a discount. Not really value for money.

This is a brand new hotel so the facilities were lovely. Our seaview room was wonderful, with its large picture window allowing an uninterrupted view of the bay. We asked for a 2nd chair for our spacious double room and it was quickly brought. I think this should be standard. The restaurant food was excellent, though somewhat expensive. All staff members were polite, friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our short break.

Wow what a setting. I know it’s only been open for 6 weeks but it is an amazing hotel. Sea view room and the whole room was amazing, huge bed which was so comfortable. Hotel reception was not well sign posted from outside, first thing you see is an underground car park. Check in was straight forward, once we located reception, which is up a staircase. Staff were helpful. Hotel is new and well equipped. White fluffy dressing gowns and slippers in the room. Mini bar has coke, milk, water and chocolate inside. Coffee machine is a great touch. The bathroom has lovely smelling toiletries. Spotlessly clean, I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again, once we found our way in!

Everything was excellent: the hotel has a modern and stylish design, the room was clean, comfortable and well thought out, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. A special mention goes to the shared/public toilets – they are simply luxury level: extremely clean, beautifully designed, with high-quality finishes and a real feeling of comfort. The location is excellent, with beautiful views and easy access to the seaside, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel. We would be very happy to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Indigo Torquay and overall it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really made the stay feel special. The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere, making it a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. The only very small negative was the shower door. The handle on the inside is quite small and difficult to pull, especially when your hands are wet and slippery. I also have a fear of being trapped, so I did have a brief moment of panic, which wasn’t helped by the fact I didn’t have my glasses on at the time. That said, this was a minor issue and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff more than made up for this small inconvenience. We would happily return and would definitely recommend Hotel Indigo Torquay to others looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

The hotel is very new so all the open facilities were in perfect state. Staff are all new and motivated, if not fully trained. All were very keen to serve thier customers. The hotel affords great views over Torbay from the main restaurants, bars and space by lifts. We did not have a seaview room so looked over the railway and neighbours gardens. Our room was well furnished and decorated including a small fridge and coffee machine. It would be nice to have a second chair given it is a double room.

Hotel was beautiful clean well kept, front desk staff were very helpful. One of the waiters in the restaurant was outstanding in service, efficient, friendly and very helpful. I would have given mores stars if the breakfast experience had been better. We waited one hour and fifteen minutes for our breakfast to be served. The eggs were well overcooked. Not enough fruit available. No orange juice we had to ask for it. There did not seem to be enough staff to cope, and they were not very organised, serving other people while others had been waiting a long time. Plenty of room for improvement

Spotless room, almost everything was tickety boo. Except the TV in my room (138) was not receiving any signal and, thus, I was unable to watch anything on the night I was a guest there. The fault was reported to the front desk, but it was too late in the day for anyone from maintenance to fix the issue for me during my stay. As I was inconvenienced I managed to negotiate a compensation with James, who was very amenable and helpful. This included some free bottled water and a complimentary Breakfast In Bed service the morning after - for my room and for my travel companion in the next room. Jackie, the duty manager that morning, was both very patient and very helpful when the time came to check out and there were delays in doing so by 11am. Thanks for your help. Highly recommend this newly opened Hotel Indigo of IHG.

A relativly New hotel on the seafront. About a mile walk to the harbour, with a bus stop outside. The staff were excellent, rooms were clean and well appointed and breakfast was excellent.
