Great location, really quiet, sauna is amazing especially after a long days of hiking. The breakfast here is really delicious with so many options, not to mention the view you get while eating. The hotel is slightly elevated and is just a short walk from Grindelwald station, making it both quiet and convenient. The room was spacious and spotless, and the breakfast was delightful, especially the sesame bread and cold cuts. The host’s friendly cat greeted us warmly and even played with us, adding a special touch to our stay. We stayed for five nights and truly appreciated the excellent balance of price and quality of service.

Just blown away by everything about this hotel and its owners. The location was perfect just a short up hill walk from the train station and central for everything we needed. Room was clean and well organized, bed was super comfy and I really enjoyed my herbal pillow! Breakfast buffet was a stunning start to the day and all the staff were very helpful with questions. Spa area was lovely, be sure to give it a try. Only thing I would have appreciated was a mini fridge in the room; as a solo traveler I had to choose my dinners carefully so I did not end up with leftovers and nowhere to put them. Either way would absolutely stay here again!

Loved all the little details like fresh water daily, incredible breakfast with a view, and an included spa experience you can’t miss. Christmas in Grindelwald

We stayed for 6 nights over Christmas 2023, we were looking for hotel located close to the center and this was perfect, a few minutes walk to center and convenient for restaurants the train and bus station. Super clean, friendly and great value. Great views and a great buffet breakfast.

Our room is clean, staff are very helpful. The location is accessible . The only thing that I don’t like is, you have to carry your luggage’s to the second floor. How much more if you are in the 3rd floor. If they have a lift, it will be perfect. But I love the place.

The hotel is near the train station which was convenient for getting around to other areas. There was a little bit of a steep hill to get up to the hotel but it was only about 100 yards. I chose a single room; it was small but worth the price I paid. The continental breakfast had enough variety for me and all was very fresh. The hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend the hotel.
