Very quiet. Room was perfect. Towels lux! BUT...I wish the staff (not kitchen) was more visible. I found myself hunting them. Breakfast was wonderful. Continental and eggs cooked to order and delish. They can also accommodate you if you arrive after 8 pm food wise. It's absolutely beautiful. Many rooms to choose from. Lovely living room and wrap around porch. Perfect if spending the day at Cumberland Island and you don't want to drive home. They can also pack you a lunch to take with you! Will come back for sure.

Will not stay there again.

Local bar a block away played loud music until 10:15pm on Friday night. Then bar patrons proceeded to have a loud discussion in the street at 2:00am for about 45-mins. When we asked to move to a room on the back of the building away from the noise, we were told that the inn was full and there wasn't another room available. When we pointed out that the room across the hall was empty, receptionist said that we were assigned the room we were in when we made the reservation and couldn't move. So we listened to the bar again on Saturday night.

Did not stay due to family illness. But booking 1week before trip did not allow for cancellation. Even if I cancelled one day after, I was out of luck.I personally checked out St Marys after because it is an hour away from home. Nothing to do there, no real restaurants mostly bars and fast food places.Many places out of business. Avoid this place. Fernandina much better area to go to.

The bed was so uncomfortable. The room was freezing. Went to ask for a blanket. No one answered at the front desk. Only got to stay for one night. Asked for a refund for the 2nd night. Was charged a larger amount for the 2nd night even though we left at 9: AM. Staff ( the kitchen staff and maid) said they would contact the owner or manager about us leaving and wanting a refund- and we never heard back from them.

I was just disappointed, I thought we had a claw tub in our room according to the internet and called to get some bath salts. I also called and asked about bathrobes. On the phone they were all helpful but the room had been recently upgraded and the claw tub was gone, no bath salts, no bathrobes. Wish the staff had just said we don’t do that so downgraded one star.
