This is a basic budget motel. It was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. We opted to stay here the night before we visited Badlands National Park. It was a few miles east of the park.

This is our second time at the Budget Inn. Both times we just needed a place to stay for a night and the price is right, we had a room big enough for 5 people. Nothing fancy but fulfills a need. Nice people.

A little older property and a bit run down but it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was just coffee, milk, OJ, and some chocolate/powdered donuts. Pool had no water in it. Staff was very friendly. I would stay again.

Surprisingly clean and quiet inside. Safe. Great value for a simple and clean motel. It looks sketchy from the outside but it did the job just fine. Bed was super comfortable, air conditioner was perfect, shower was great. No frills, not fancy.

No one at hotel office even though sign said open till 11pm, called number 3 times before someone would answer, was told go across road to get key and oh by the way your room is in next building. Not impressed at all, will not be back

Due to lack of staff we had to check in at a different hotel and then go back. We reserved a room on line on the first floor due to disabilities but was not given one. Rooms were not available because they hadn't been cleaned.

We arrived later in the evening, and it took the person behind the counter 3 tries to get us a functional key - she ended up switching what room we were in after the first 2 didn’t work. The room had a funky almost musty smell to it, and the bedspread didn’t smell the best either. The sheets and the bathroom were both clean.

The property was old but the staff kept it clean and sufficient. I had my own air spray so that helped with the odor of old room/cleaning products smell. I was woken by the sound of the tv in the unit above. The old window air conditioner was effectively keeping my room temperature cool and the convenience of right off the highway and across from a restaurant was okay. The kindness of the staff made my stay pleasant.
