Great hotel in the middle of the city. Everything is in walking distance, including gondola to the Christ statue. They also have an amazing buffet breakfast! Can't wait to stay here again.

This property was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and it delivered exactly what it promised. My only shock was - the rooms did not have any AC due to the historic nature of the building but thankfully the fan that was provided was sufficient for the room. Overall I will visit this hotel again!

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to shops. Loved the breakfast. Room was nice. The hotel itself needs a lot of renovation. We used the pool, but there was a lot of noise from renovation, not very relaxing. It has seen better days.

As it is a city heritage, I understand that it is an old building. I even like it. But it's expensive, unkempt and dirty. The shower was disgusting, the tiles never get clean. I will never recommend this hotel again and I will never recommend it to anyone.

Grand but disappointing hotel

The hotel is an icon of Pocos de Caldas. Outside and inside it is beautiful. Therefore it really is such a pity that the hotel was disappointing. The rooms are OK - but probably in need of modernisation. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in the city. Service is a serious issue - some staff are great but others appeared to have a bad attitude - one even swore. Another issue with the hotel is the way it seems to make simple things difficult with lots of bureaucracy - at times it is painful. Bureaucracy is a fact of life in Brazil - but there were instances where the hotel took it to a new level. If the hotel improved its service it would make a huge difference because it truly is iconic and mostly beautiful

1°) Escolha foi para uma data especial, escrevi para Hotel e mesmo no check in não houve nada de especial, 2°) existe uma parceria do Hotel com o principal Thermas(Antônio Carlos) da cidade e não foi informado isso só ficamos sabendo no Thermas após atendimento e pagamento soube que tinha desconto. Os quartos que tem a janela para a praça são bem expostos ao barulho, Hotel é bom e bem localizado, e tem um excelente café da manhã, mas não voltaria.
