Right in the heart of it all

Well appointed and comfortable. Pull out sofa is perfect and there was also an extra rollaway bed which we did not need. We were in unit 4 (1st floor) facing street. This is located above 2 bars and it it’s good to know that you will hear noise without ear plugs. Weekends it goes til 4am but it didn’t bother us. Building slopes a bit and I could feel it which some people are mired sensitive to than others so be aware. Very convenient location. Water taxi is accessible from Gamla Stan or walking to mainland is easy too. Lots of restaurants and shops and historical areas within walking distance. Weekend guided tours of Gamla Stan is common and a good idea since the buildings have so much history.

Either have two selarate machine or take it out of property. Put a set of instructions in welcome email or property for the electric stove and the kitchen lighting remote operated

Great Location!

You can’t beat the location, is perfect between restaurants, museums and walking anywhere. There is no elevator so be careful with full size suitcases. And it was weird to not have paper towels in the kitchen 😁

Lovely apartment in the old village of Stockholm. Near to shops, restaurants, and the metro for Gamla Stan. Plenty of space for a family of 5 and had everything we needed in the kitchen.

The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and bright. It is in a great location. The restaurant downstairs has live music but we didn't find it intrusive or a problem with sleeping. I would definitely stay here again on any future visit to Stockholm.

Great and large apartment directly in the City. Only minus was that it is a little cold in Winter times (only 1 layer) windows and a little noisy at night and early mornings, which must be expected in the middle of city.

Terrific people to work with and great value for the money. Centrally located in Stockholm. Two flights of stairs, no lift, the only downside. A good bit of street noise until about 1am. Reasonable trade off for the central location.

Nice & lovely apartment in the old town Gamla Stan, lovely neighborhood, all necessary equipment provided in the apt. Only one thing, no elevator and we had to climb up to second floor (actually 3rd fl) with super big luggage. Good service from ApartDirect Team, quick response whenever we had a problem!

The apartment right in the historical centre was amazing and stylish. We enjoyed a lot staying there. Only parking was challenging and some instructions on the congestion charge system and on how to find well suited Park&Ride options would have been helpful (we found a good and cheap one in Enskedehallen at the Gullmarsplan station). And one more chair at the kitchen table would have been beneficial. We also did not manage to switch on the TV, but WLAN was working perfectly.

Excellent location in old town with easy access to shopping, sighntseeing, restaurants, and the subway. The flat was neat and cute. However, the bathroom was very small making hard to maneuver. It would have been nice to get instructions how the heat and TV worked and also to be warned about the 6 am cleaning of the pub below (glass bottles thrown out and dragging of furniture). Otherwise great place!

Don’t sleep here, because you won’t sleep here

If you’re one of this people who like to sleep at some point of the night, this place might not be for you. It’s located over a pub with live music until midnight. The whole floor vibrates with the music. Then at 6am, they dispose all the bottles from the previous day waking up every living soul within a mile radius. I’m surprised a place like this is even at Hotels.com / This place doesn’t have the minimum standards to be considered a hotel. It’s just an old building with a keypad and worn down floors.

Great place in prime location!

We stayed here with our family of 6. Worked out well for us. Our kids enjoyed each having their own little space (2 in the little bedrooms, one on the sofa bed), and baby slept in bed w/ us (no infant crib on site). Separate toilet room from shower room is convenient for a larger family (or other groups of people). The location is excellent - right in the heart of the old city and easy to walk to everything. Kitchen was well equipped. Washing machine dials are all in Swedish - we had to ask a Swedish friend to help! (maybe provide English translation/instruction near the washer).

While the location is fantastic be advised that noise at night from the street below is very loud till almost 2 am. Not an issue if you can close the windows but it was in the summer and we had to leave them all open. One of the bedrooms is also only accessible through another. Not stocked with coffee or any other staples. Early morning noise was also bad from store deliveries and garbage pick up. No one really slept well.

The property is above a pub with live music until 1.30am or beyond. The used glass ware is collected before 8am for large bins It is entirely unsuitable for a peaceful trip to Stockholm and entirely unsuitable for a work trip. I would say it is completely unacceptable to rent this out at all - other than to kids partying until 2am.

Overall a clean, large space located conveniently in Old Town. Cons - right above a tavern that has live music every night from 8-11pm, and trucks arriving every morning around 5-6am. There are lots of little steps up and down to trip over if you're not careful. My husband unfortunately hit his head almost every time leaving the bathroom as there's a step down out of the bathroom and a low threshold. Beds were comfortable and the space was clean and well equipped. There's old stone stairs and no elevator so be prepared.
