Disappointing Stay

For the amount of money that was spent, one would expect a better visit. The elevator was out, the ice machine wasn't working and the pool was closed. This was a busy weekend in town. The hotel should have been prepared.

First I must say that the staff were absolutely outstanding. They were profession, kind, courteous and the kind of people I would want to live next door to. In fact those people are the ONLY reason I would consider returning to this hotel. They are a treasure and a credit to best western. However.. where do I start with everything that was wrong....? All of the exercise equipment was in disrepair. The pool had a sign saying "closed until further notice" and BOTH were still listed as amenities on the Expedia website. I used to WORK for Expedia.. I KNOW you can remove it from your amenity list in 30 seconds because I BUILT that system.. Best Western is NOT being customer-centric at ALL by leaving those amenities listed on the website if they're not available or in need of repair. Also the third-floor ice machine is a leaking, dead pile of rot and spare parts. BW - get this place turned around. Your customers deserve better.

Husband slipped coming out of shower

My husband fell on Monday in the walk-in shower - slipped on the slick floor because the tile is slick when coming out of the shower. He hurt his knee, back and shoulder. Had to use a walker for a couple of days. Please review taking precautions to address this issue.
