The character of the hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. And having a freshly cooked, generous breakfast was an added bonus. My stay at the Victoria has opened my mind to the possibility of hotel accommodation.

It is fairly good value for money, everything is there, had meal first night and it was terrible, table was not cleaned properly,salt a pepper condoments where dirty,there was a mix up with accommodation and at @ 9.30 the staff rang me to see if we where coming and we where already there and asleep, stayed there @ 3 years ago and was good this not so.

I had a great one night stay here on 31/12/23. I received a great rate through lastminute. Very easy check-in and check-out process. I enjoyed the included complimentary breakfast, whilst simple but delicious. Some caveats: no personal fridge in the room, only a shared common area outside the rooms for tea, coffee, etc. I also found it a bit odd that the AC settings aren't to be changed at all. Also that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom for showers, with a note stating that showering with the door open can cause the fire alarm to go off. All in all, I did have a great stay and the staff were very accommodating. It was cozy, quaint, basic - all you need for a place to sleep.
