When it was newer, this place must have been great. But that was probably 35 years ago. Sadly, the upkeep needed to keep it in good condition has been lacking.
The rooms have been given some attention, and our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. But the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, and the carbon monoxide detector was missing (with wires hanging out).
The breakfast was, honestly, one of the worst I've had in a hotel. The egg-things and sausage had no flavor. The pancakes and muffins were burned.
Aside from the clean room, the one saving grace for this place was the price...about $100 less than the new hotel across the street. I would probably stay here again because I'm cheap, but only if for one night.
