The property is beautifully designed. It is compact but well planned out and very tasteful. Everything you need is there. The breakfast basket is delightful! The cottage is attractive and in a lovely location. It is so easy to just walk across the road for dinner. We loved it!!

Absolutely wonderful. Not a detail missed and many that I never would have thought of found. Probably the best equipped self-catering spot we’ve stayed at. Nice lounge with large flat screen TV, lovely dining table, big heavy drapes throughout, great collection of books to sift through (Including quite a few on Stonehenge). Very close (at least by car) to Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge, easy to find.

This place is the best we have stayed at in UK. It is not only beautiful and comfortable but the innkeepers have thought of every possible thing. Great bath, nice kitchen, great bed and towels. I appreciated how green the paper goods and soaps are. Great place

Fantastic place to stay

Beautiful accommodation with everything you could need included plus extras you don’t usually have provided like rolls for breakfast with was lovely. Fantastic place to stay with the dog and the hosts were very friendly when my other half dumped into them when heading back from the evening walk plus communication prior to arrival was great. Would definitely stay again! Beautiful village

Amazing place to stay

Amazing place to stay! Everything was great and all the details were thought about from milk in the fridge on arrival to extra chargers near the bed. The bed was super comfy and location very tranquil with a great pub oppositeness. Would 100% stay again.

Lovely quiet and peaceful location. Comfortable space with lots of thoughtful touches. Everything I needed. What didn't I like? Having to leave and go back to work and reality.

A luxurious stopover.

Only stayed one night. It’s quite expensive at nearly £300 a night but Tesco vouchers helped! The apartment was very nicely presented and finished to a high standard. It felt more like a luxury hotel - Very impressed with attention to detail on arrival. Lamps on, classical music playing on radio! Very inviting and relaxing! Breakfast ingredients in fridge… Everything you could need was there - including a pay phone as mobile signal poor in the area. We had a lovely evening with our children playing the family games provided. Would recommend and would stay again.

a 1 night stay

Photos did not depict the room booked, was expecting a cottage as per photos and ended up with more an en-suite bedroom. Breakfast was good though, all left in fridge for arrival.

Lovely area

A great base for exploring the area. Lovely apartment - kitchen quite small. It was a very hot few days we were there and we were kindly given a fan for the room but it was still very hot in there!

Very Good Indeed. We will return

Fabulous. Super position. Lovely area. Prepare your own breakfast brilliant idea. Even the smoked salmon was good quality rather than the cheapest.Comfortable. I really loved it. Needs a lick of new paint.

Lovely home away from home

We loved it! Such a lovely 2 BR/2BTh cottage with lovely furnishings and wonderful service! They provided many special breakfast foods (ham, salmon, prosciutto, cheeses, eggs, breads, jams, coffee, teas and much more) and we felt so pampered. The beds were really comfortable and the home furnishings were really beautiful. Hazel, one of the owners, is an artist, and the home shows her artistic expression. She was so warm and hospitable, and her cleaning staff were so thoughtful and just great. We stayed a week, but wished it could have been longer. I'm sure we'll return!

The experience was exceptional with charm and all of the amenities, including a full breakfast, great wi-fi, and the quintessential English pub just a few yards away. We loved it and only wish we had scheduled more time there.

Fabulous location, & great breakfast & amenities

Great location, quiet & peaceful. Junior suite was warm, cosy & great touches. Breakfast for the 2 nights we stayed was fabulous. All in your fridge to enjoy. Thank you. Think next time though we'll hire the whole lot. Executive and junior as the wall between junior suite's bedroom etc & Executive suite's bedroom is so so thin. To be honest we both found it embarrasing. Was glad people who were staying in the Executive suite stayed just 1 night. Great hot shower and toiletries. Great pub opposite & near to Bath etc.

We were surprised by how spacious the cottage was. Everything was so comfortable about a long day of traveling and we ended it with a perfect dinner right across the street from our quiet cottage.

Abandoned trip 😔

Unfortunately we had to abandon our stay as the accommodation was not suitable for Dogs as advertised. Dogs aren’t allowed on the bed (which is understandable) however the bed takes up Most of the room So it left no space to put the dog bed on the floor! On the photograph there was a sofa and coffee table, in reality, there was a tub chair in the bathroom?! We did tell the owner that it wasn’t suitable and we were going to have to leave, there was no phone signal on EE or 02 so you are very isolated - which is lovely if you want to be incommunicado! Left incredibly upset as we had to leave visiting family and return home, meaning I had driven 400 miles by the end of the day. I think if you don’t have a dog with you, are good with small dark spaces and want to be alone without a phone bothering you, this is the perfect getaway- but not for us.
