Warm and inviting despite Renovations...

We had a nice visit, staying in Delitzsch (a charming place) while visiting Leipzig for a couple of days. The hotel was undergoing renovations so it felt a bit incomplete, but the staff were so friendly and accomodating that it made up for any shortcomings. Breakfast Buffet was excellent and we highly recommend the Restaurant for dinner.

Although the hotel advertises shuttle service with a surcharge and english speaking, i was told by the front desk that "No shuttle, get taxi". When i arrived, the busy dinner waiters were asked to speak english to me because the front desk staff couldn't. My luggage was lost for a day and a half so that compounded the issue of the lack of english speaking

Das Hotel hat bei Hotels.com eine Bewertung von 8,4 (sehr gut) und sollte mit befriedigend bewertet werden. Ich kann mir nicht erklĂ€ren, wo die HotelgĂ€ste ĂŒbernachtet und gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt haben, die ein sehr gut vergeben haben. Die Übernachtung in einem Einzelzimmer kostet mit FrĂŒhstĂŒck ca. 80 EUR und man bekommt als Gast in etwa die Gegenleistung, die man fĂŒr 80 EUR inkl. FrĂŒhstĂŒck erwarten kann. Die Zimmer sehen nicht so aus, wie auf der Seite von Hotels.com dargestellt, sondern so wie auf der Hotel-eigenen Homepage gezeigt: https://www.hotel-zumweissenross.de/ und das entspricht auch den von mir angehĂ€ngten Fotos. Die Restaurant-Fotos auf Hotels.com sind nicht der FrĂŒhstĂŒcksraum der HotelgĂ€ste, sondern von einem griechischen Restaurant, welches sich im gleichen GebĂ€ude befindet. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck ist in Ordnung (befriedigend), aber ich habe in den letzten 25 Jahren meiner GeschĂ€ftsreisen und Privatreisen in viele LĂ€nder dieser Erde noch nie fĂŒr eine Übernachtung mit FrĂŒhstĂŒck bezahlt und dann eine Kaffeemaschine mit einem MĂŒnzschlitz gesehen, wo man 2 EUR einwerfen soll. Unglaublich, deshalb hier auch das Foto der Maschine angehĂ€ngt. Filterkaffee oder Tee sind im FrĂŒhstĂŒckspreis inklusive. Die Rezeption ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. FĂŒr die 58 Zimmer (laut Homepage) gibt es 12 kostenlose ParkplĂ€tze direkt am GebĂ€ude, die ab 18 Uhr voll sind. In der Umgebung findet man ParkplĂ€tze 5-10 min Fussweg entfernt, wo man zwischen 18 Uhr und 8 Uhr morgens kostenlos parken kann.
