Staff phoned to see how far we were for check in, which we appreciated. Room was clean, upstairs guests were noisy but overall happy. Nice to just walk across the road and be right by the lake. Parks are a tad tight but we made it work.

The management were so helpful, made up the double into a twin for us when we had an extra guest. Really accommodating and friendly. The room had a fan heater, that heated the place up so fast. The room was surprisingly warm and completely soundproof. Will definitely stay there again.

It is an older motor inn, but money has been spent updating the interior of the rooms. The bathrooms are fresh, and our room was spotless. The hosts were very polite and obliging. It is a pleasant easy walk to the downtown area (which saves the hassle of parking downtown). The price was reasonable overall

My stay there was adequate.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.The location was brilliant being across the road from the lake and walking distance to a pub 100m up the road and Taupo central.The only criticisms I would make is the parking up the back was a bit cramped , the microwave smelt like an old phone box and the spa bath need a scrub.It looked like the previous guest had given themselves a Brazilian the night before.Otherwise would stay there again but would be very carefull of using Trivago as a booking site.I ended making the booking using US$ and paid considerably more than what I should have, Cheers

The apartment was looking very tired. Paint was flaking, shower leaked onto the floor and sofa needed replacing (material was torn on the arms and it did not provide good support). Overdue for a complete refurbishment. Room was only serviced once during our stay (3days).
