The location is perfect, the views are stunning, the facilities and staff were fantastic, the room was very modern and with a nice layout. the only drawback was the language barrier , it is quite common in China that even international chains like Westin don't hire people with English (at least) proficiency.

Could have been a 5 star. Unfortunately the room on the 1st night was located directly opposite a staff door that creaked loudly everytime it is open or closed. Could not sleep on the 1st morning due to that. Otherwise. Hotel is great. Staff were very helpful (helped me change room) and location was perfect. Just avoid room 4119 the noisy room :)

Excellent location that is very walkable to major tourist attractions. F&B outlets and restaurants are all around the hotel. Beautiful river view from our room and the property is clean and very well maintained. Breakfast buffet starts at 6am providing guest with a wide selection of both oriental and western delicacies. A big thank you to the concierge team and especially James for the warm greetings whenever we are at the hotel obby and always asking if we need any assistance. Housekeeping was quick to bring us towels, pillows and toiletries upon request. Check-in counter located on the 51st storey even provided a good selection of complimentary snack packs for guest which we only found out on our last night. We had an excellent 4 nights stay made possible by all the wonderful staff of The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square. Gong Xi Fa Cai!

I had a premium, double bed room. Room is very spacious, it is clean, no weird smell, no mold etc. Everything that I possibly need is there. There’s a Bluetooth speaker that allows wireless charging in the room too. Short walk to Hongya & river cruise boarding area. Hotel connected to a big shopping mall with food options and bakeries. The hotel entrance is via door 11. It is separate from the shopping mall entrance, meaning it is orderly & quiet, no need to share taxi/ didi boarding/ alighting with shoppers. River view was great & I was able to see the sun rising right in front of me. Everything was great!

Booked the executive suite with wonderful view on Chongqing and the illuminated skyscrapers. The hotel is an excellent location 5 min walk away from liberation square and the main shopping street Jiefangbei. Hotel room was very spacious and the super comfy Westin heavenly bed, that I really love. Hotel staff is very helpful in organizing trips and buying tickets. If you are there, you should definitively take a day trip to Wulong including Longshuixia! Will choose this hotel again, next time I go to Congqing!
