Our stay at the Cedar Hill Lodge was fine. We stayed for 8 nights - from Friday, July 18th to Saturday, July 26th to be near my husband’s family while they were camping at their property in Brevort. For the duration of our stay, we were on the ground floor of a building called The Cedars. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed dark dirt footprints on the wall next to one of the beds - this wasn’t a great first impression. The flooring, old carpet, was also slightly damp (the entire time) and the room smelled musty. We weren’t at the motel much and only used our room to sleep and shower. (This was due to family members owning property nearby.) I wouldn’t book a room here again, but it served as a decent home-base for the week for my husband, our two young kids, and I. My family would rate this motel a 5/10.
