Very well kept place. Not modern but super clean and well maintained. You can tell they really care about keeping it nice. Location was great. My husband and I have never been to Bar Harbor. We went for four days where we stayed at this amazing hotel. The place was clean, nice well-maintained. The owners were so pleasant so friendly. Anything you asked for you had it? It was awesome. The only thing I would recommend is if you have an issue with stairs request the first floor there is no landing on the stairs as you go up to the second floor but overall could not ask for a better place. My husband and I have both said we will go back and stay there again it was

Joy and her family own and operate the hotel. It is extremely well cared for, clean, comfortable, and convenient. It’s at the end of the main street for shops and restaurants, but it is separated from the “activity” of town by a city park. Best stay for the money in Bar Harbor.

We had a great stay at the Cromwell Harbor Motel. All of the staff we talked to were wonderful, and it shows that this is a family-owned establishment. The location is absolutely perfect - a short walk to town, but just out of town so it's very quiet at night. The rooms are huge and completely clean. All of the grounds, including the pool, look immaculate (although we didn't use the pool). Ample parking as well. Would definitely recommend!
