I stayed here 21 years ago and was glad to see with new owners it is still a lovely, quaint place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom remodeled. Wood floors and the classic style is so much nicer than a standard hotel. The breakfast was very good and the location is close to shopping. I will stay again when we visit Norrkoping.

Overall a very nice small hotel. The two big draw backs are no staff on site after 6pm and a completely underdimensioned parking arrangement.

Location away from the hustle and bustle of town. Difficult to get into (must call ahead for entry code). Breakfast time us short (over by 9am) and do not go in at 9:05am unless you want to be yelled at. Cleaning staff entered room without knocking 1.15 hours before check out.

Past its prime

The hotel felt a bit like it was past its glory days. A lot of furniture that felt like it was in need of replacement. A weird mix of very nice time pieces that fit the old style of the building with IKEA leather chairs & tables that looked like they were placed just to fill space. Staff was lovely and friendly and doing their best but they felt very nervous. During breakfast there was not a second where they weren’t hovering around the very small buffet space refilling the food every other minute. If you took some orange juice, immediately this would disappear into the kitchen to be refilled & replaced. Creating even less space to get food or drinks. You couldn’t leave your table for a second to get a refill without the chance of your plate disappearing because of a nervous overly active cleaning of tables. I was feeling completely stressed out by the end of breakfast instead of relaxed. The cleanliness was also so so. We found hair in the shower drain that wasn’t ours. Which made us wonder how clean the rest of the room was. Even after they cleaned our room for a second time the hair was still there. Overall not a place I would stay at again. And very surprised it got a 9.2 by hotels.com

Der var ik rigtig nok p pladser det ene værelse vi have stank af Kloark fra vi ankom til vi rejste samt da vi ankom var der gået en alarm som gav en hyletone på værelser og gange der varet fra ca 23-02 om natten Tilgængæld aftalte vi med dem vi kunne ankomme senere det var der ingen bøvl med men til gængæld var personalet vi skulle afregne med meget dårlig til at gøre sig forståelig

Födelsedagshelg

Fint hotell som känns relativt nyrenoverat. Personal som tog betalt kunde absolut ha haft en större servicekänsla i bemötande. Men egentligen inget som drar ner betyg då det ändå inte finns bar eller annat att handla i. Prisklassen är bra för vad man får. Superior-rum, frukost (ingår) för ca 1000kr. Rum, inte super-rent. Fläckar på vägg, kalk i badrum. Handdukar och sängkläder rena. I vårt rum fanns tom kul som var igång. Uppskattas mycket om man har med sig något som behöver kyla. 4/5 är absolut ett betyg som återspeglar vistelsen. Kan tänka mig att komma tillbaka. Enda saken som kändes lite skum var att dem ville städa rummet innan utcheckning (10:30) och knackade då på och öppnade dörren precis när jag duschat och stod med handduk (man).

Trevligt hotell med bra läge

Trevligt hotell som ligger en kort promenad från centrum. Trivsam miljö och ok rum. Väldigt bra frukost. Det som skulle dra upp betyget är ett mer kundorienterat bemötande. T.ex. skulle ett ”Godmorgon” till gästerna vid frukosten och ”Välkomna hit” vid ankomsten istället för att direkt gå på bokningsuppgifterna göra mycket för ett annars mycket trevligt hotell.

Södra hotellet

Ett hotell som låg bra till hands för oss som ville besöka Kolmården och badhuset. Parkeringen som fanns vid badhuset gav oss en 400kr billigare parkeringsmöjlighet än vad hotellet kunde erbjuda så det finns som möjlighet för de som vill pressa ner priset. Överlag ett bra hotell där priset var lägre än andra närliggande hotell vilket till viss del märktes. Bäddsoffan hade mer att erbjuda men sängarna var bra. Internet fanns. Väldigt enkelt att ta sig till hotellet med bil. Städningen på golven i hotellrummet kunde varit bättre då det var mycket grus vid ankomst och när man körde fläkten (airkondition saknades) så kom det fram damm och hår tuffsar från under sängar och soffa. Ett frukostbuffe som hade lite allt möjligt vad man kan önska. En litet hotell vilket gav det en känsla av hemtrevnad.
