Stayed here twice in the last week. Real nice hotel superb breakfast buffet. A little overpriced for food and drinks orherwise fabulous place.

The resort is great, nice rooms and next to a waterpark (walk 5min) which is nice. Very kind people all around and the buffet (breakfast and dinner) are really great (even though we normally don’t like buffets). Perfect service, couldn’t have been better.

This is a self contained resort which has absolutely everything you could need to stay there and not leave. They offer you shuttle transport to Puerto Princesa every day and provide tours to other parts of the island so you can enjoy a full experience of Palawan. The staff were exceptional catering to your every need. The spa is fantastic and a great place to unwind with a massage. I enjoyed palawan far more because of my stay at this hotel!

I like how the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very spacious. I like how they provided rubber slippers to the guests. Food was good. Only thing is it wasn’t explained properly to me that I can check out at The Canopy if I am checking out earlier than 7 am since The Nest only opens at 7 am. Other than that everything is great.

Amazing resort. I cant think of anything negative to say. Staff is super friendly and helpful, food and entertainment were exceptional, rooms were clean and comfy. Only thing i might suggest is: use the resort transport, it is more reliable then a private van.

Relaxing break

This is a nice hotel very rural so everything relies on the hotels facilities. Great very accommodating staff and nice ground’s especially with Christmas lights. No hand towels in the bedroom which was strange and no steps into the pool so for an older person could be difficult. Food obviously biased to Asian clientele so not always appealing to western tastes. However a nice place to relax and unwind for a few days

Me and my wife had a wonderful stay at your resort in the end of Febrary. ❤️ We plannned to stay there for two nights, extended it to four, all the last nights of our fantastic stay in Palawan. Everything was perfect, the resort itself, the Staff, the Airport transport, only one hour and ten minutes, so even if the resort is a bit long distance from Puerto Princesa, 60 km, it's no problems to get to and from, either to visit town or reach a plane. 👍 Again, thank you for the wonderful stay together with your fantastic Staff, this was ultimate experience in Palawan. Astoria Palawan has been my best experience in a resort so far. The service from any staff member ensuees that you are well looked after. The rooms are spacious enough, and very clean. The shower and baththrom is great witg the use of a bathtub for soaking. Breakfast buffet had a wide range of choices and came free with the room. And a rotating schedule for dinner buffet each day is slightly expensive cokpared to the local options just outside, but there is an excellent range of foods and desserts on offer. Laundry service is very expensive so i would advise walking outside the resort only a couple of minutes to the local laundry lady who will do loads of washing for much cheaper including tip. Plenty of activities to do including underground river. Port Barton tour was an excellent experience where we swam with the turtles and enjoyed island hopping.

I love the resort concept, the pools, the water park, the breakfast buffet and the entertainment at night. The performers (fire dancers and singers) are all talented but I feel those talents should be showcased more. We could hardly see the performers from the restaurant; maybe a spotlight would have helped or maybe a TV monitor inside the restaurant. Also, the reception people at check in should inform the guests about activities guests can do while staying there, such as entertainment at night at specific time (we kept missing the fire dance because we kept being misinformed), night club ( we stayed for 4 nights and we didn’t know there was one until our last night), water park access and many other pieces of information guests should know at time of checkin. All the staff are good, everyone gave excellent service.

My mother and I had a wonderful time at Astoria Palawan. We were warmly welcomed by the staff with a delicious coconut-based dessert and drink. Our room was spacious, clean, and the shower had strong water pressure. There were plenty of activities on the resort including but not limited to--karaoke, board games, kayaking, mini-golf, a water park, etc. We were only there for a couple of days, so we didn't have a chance to do everything. The food also was delicious. There was a wide variety of food including a traditional Western style and Filipino classics. All the staff members we met were super friendly. One particular staff member was Ivan Jimenez who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable during our dinner. A pro and a con of this place is it's quite isolated from the city. It's great because it's quiet and peaceful, but if you wanted to go out and explore Puerto Princesa, then you would be a bit disappointed as it is about 1 hour away from town though you could easily arrange transportation with the staff. Overall, I had a great time and would consider staying here again.

Astoria Palawan was a nice visit. Pros: pool, cafe ( wishes it opened sooner and closed a lot later), outdoors green and lush and beautiful gardens. Walk to the beach. Breakfast and dinner buffets. Entertainment . Tours. Cons: kinda smelled and was humid in the hallway but it is in a tropical paradise. Room was roomy but bed too firm. Overall a nice visit

First impressions on arrivals was great. You are greated at thr door, given a beaded necklace and some refreshments whilst you wait for check in. After check in you are given a briefing and shown to your room. My room was fantastic and above expectations. The resort was very nice with great pools to choose from. The beach however is a let down. Not very nice or scenic. We had some trouble asking for help as the staffs communication isn't thr best. I asked where's the restaurant for ala carte and I was directed by multiple staff to the dining hall for the buffet. After a wild goose chase and finally found the restaurant, it was rather disappointing. Very limited menu, just one option for starters and no desserts. The buffet would have been a better option for sure. However the staff was very eager to please and went back and forth bringing items from the buffet to meet our request which I felt bad about. The other problem was arranging transport to the airport. Since it's a private resort, you have no option but to use their shuttle. Organising it with reception was a real pain and I was sent back and fourth to different people and even outside to a corner shop for a public transport because they did not understand what I was asking. Finally checking out was also a painful experience because they only have a 2 people at the small reception desk so at 11am the reception was over crowded with new guests checking in and guest checking out and no one knew about the shuttle service

I love Astoria. It is Beautiful place, safe and quiet. Very respectful and nice staff. Clean swimming pool, clean walk ways clean rooms and bedrooms. Only think i didn't have to much fun is food. It is very different taste then my cultural taste. But I am not complain about to much. I wish there is more salt base food rather then sugar base. Also I love to see more Italian and Spain vine selection rather then nasty French vine.
