I had a terrible experience the first thing I walked in. Went to reception and waited for 40 minutes for check in. There was only one customer being served but it took so long. There was only 1 person working at the counter. Then as I waited, another customer showed up and then some one from the back counter went to help them and skipped us. I was absolutely furious as I was waiting in line to be served but they skipped me. I then complained to the front staff member saying this is not acceptable. We are also a high tier Marriott member but my status is not accepted due to it being an apartment and not hotel. I understand if there is only 1 person providing service but to skip me and then serve someone else when they arrive is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Also, the whole executive apartments were very old and did not look like the website. The steam room did not work and the breakfast buffet was terrible. If I knew this, I would have booked the hotel instead. Very disappointed in the whole experience.
